Sounds like later production samples may be having QC issues, as while I've only taken mine off the shelf to play with a few times since January, the only problem I've had is the side panels on his shoulder claw arms popping off if they flex a bit much (and then they go right back in without fuss).

The claw panel thing literally happened to me last night when I was dusting the shelf. I think it might be a temperature thing.

Very unusual that the mid-thigh tilt on the other leg is completely different, the bottom part barely even looks the same to my eyes.

I got my copy of this guy the other day as well, and he was missing his pink missiles - I emailed TCP about it. Otherwise my copy seems to be very good, other than the fact that I find his shoulders very annoying.

Yeah, it's a completely different part. Almost as if it comes from a prototype or something.

MMC customer care directed me to talk to ShowZ first and see if they can resolve it, so I sent them pics. They were out of stock of Tortor so I am not an optimist there. This is a really expensive figure and I waited for him for six months which really leaves a bitter taste.

Maybe you can get ShowZ to cover return shipping, get a refund, and pick him up from TCP? Not sure how viable that is, but could work if MMC don't have requisite parts.

Sadly, it's not an option, shipping from my country is insanely complicated in the best of times due to our customs procedures. I also paid quite a bit already to ship him here :/

I just got this figure today, after missing out on R-43 Mors, and boy is he massive.

I'm watching Peaugh's review of him right now, and I realise I'm misaing his silver colored missiles Nd the translucent X for his head.

Is this normal, a new production version perhaps?
    Or a factory error.

They aren't covered in the manual or featured on the box either.
Just the figure with the translucent missiles, and the two heads, the smaller one with the springloaded eyes, and the additional slightly beafier one.

The pieces missing aren't a problem, as the figure is complete to pose and in function.

I got my figure from TFsource, so I could contact them as well. But I want to know if I'm actually missing anything or not.

Ah, thought so much. Similar to Optus Pexus and the extra set of guns.

    Thanks for the clarification!

Got Tortor on a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale from Agabyss.com! :thumb

First time ordering from them, and can recommend. They are based out of Wisconsin. I would've ordered VOS and Kaon from (was also 10% off), but I already had them in my POL with BBTS for quite sometime.

Back to Tesarus, he's pretty awesome! $179 shipped! In my brain, I'm always "Man, if that MMC stuff was just $20 cheaper...", lol. :p

The paint rubbing shouldn't be an issue if you are careful transforming him. The side panels on the claw arms did pop off easily but pops back on no problem. Guess that's a wide spread issue. I'll probably just put a piece of sticky tack to secure it.

Totally excited to complete the DJD once I decide to hit ship on my BBTS POL! :)

It's not an "issue". That's the toy naturally releasing compression stresses. If you twist the arms, then it warps the peg hole alignments, and the cover plate thus get stressed. The cover pops off as it hits its limits.

That's good to know, definitely not using any adhesive on it then.

Got this guy in and gotta say he is awesome! A bit limited in articulation, but he has a lot of presence and looks fantastic, and I'm not even that big of a fan of the design. Now I'm only missing Mors (Helex) from MMC's DJD but unfortunately, he looks to be sold out everywhere.
