Are they really hanging though? they seem to fold up pretty cleanly to me given they form the underside of the forearm and then the claws end up serving moreso as elbow spike detailing.



Which is very inline with the general very cleaned up very kibble free transformation the entire back of the toy has.

 

I is confused.....This is an IDW with a g1ish upgrade kit, or are they two different? Also size? Mp/something else?

There's two separate releases. There's D-Zef, which is the IDW-inspired version. Then there's D-Zef Continuum, which is the G1-inspired version with the extra accessories and a few differently-molded parts. Size-wise, he's like ~11". Probably close enough to MP Star Saber if you don't care about them being the exact same height, but not intended to be "Masterpiece". It's still mostly IDW Deathsaurus, rather than a rendering of the cartoon character.

i think all 3.5 look great, will only be buying 3, def won't even waste my time in the KFC/DX9 Deathsuarus thread unlike everyone coming in here demanding MP lol

 

Their star saber doesn’t look as boxy as their normal stuff, but it stil definitely has a plant x ring to it. I’m a sucker for mtmte so Mmc definitely wins here, although I think this ones more my style in any case.
But yeah, by adding a knuckle I think they could have had the end of the toes tuck into the bot mode arm a tad.

 

Now even PX has G1 version of Deathsaurus....

 

This just an add-on kit. It's not like PX is making two versions of Deathsaurus like MMC is doing.

Size? I’m guessing they’re probably similar in size, if this isn’t a tad larger? Totally eyeballing, just want to be on the record there.
But if you’re asking if he is mean to be masterpiece scaled, I believe he’s in the reformatted scale, which falls somewhere slightly smaller than mp but larger than CHUG.
Personally, this is gonna fall close to their overlord, where I consider him reformatted scale, but masterpiece styled: definitely would be larger if properly mp-scale, but the detail actually surpasses taktom mp. I’m assuming an old skool masterpiece price of 160/180.
None of this mp44 for $445 shit, that’s insane to the point of insult. This will have a much higher bang-to-buck ratio.

 

Bout a head taller. Same size as GT Tyrant.

 

Oh no I’m not gonna put him in MP I just want him to be big in my CHUG collection. Deathsarus is the type of guy to be a big bulking boss.
