Yeah. He got some pretty good moments in his time in IDW.
    Dinobots also had cool moments.
Furman did well with them in his run and then taking Grimlock away from the others was a smart move.
Altough it was mostly Slag and Swoop who benefitted.
But Barber gave em some cool stories.

Thank you, that means Hexatron is passed for me.

I am surprised how D-zef came out from nowhere and there are still DJD's members in develop. And I though Nickel or The Pet got release at the end of year.

I am still glad that MMC still working on IDW and I hope they will continue with it.

i think they move on whats furthest along in design, sometiems you have to go back to the drawing board. thats half speculation, half going on the past from when i knew mmc a little closer. but its all coming (phrasing boom!)

Or maybe they know there are people like me who will stop collecting MMC figures once the rest of the DJD's been released.

Right before I read your post, I was just thinking about the joint there for tippie toe. Good call either way.
I think I'm okay for scale either way. They had so many space battles, it was hard to tell their height to each other. Yes, fishing line or flight stand(s).

I'm 90% certain that D-Zef is up for pre-order now, even though the figure's not close to being complete, because of Planet X Ismenios. That doesn't mean he'll release any time soon, and it's possible that one of the large DJD figures gets released first.
For example, Saltus has been on pre-order for 2 years, and Omne, Hellion, and Azalea have made or will make it to release first even though all were up for pre-order later.

OTOH, judging by thread activity in this forum, people are apparently more interested in D-Zef than the DJD figures, so MMC might be pushing to the front things they know will sell better.

Whats the difference between the two versions besides aesthetics, they are the same character right?

Yup, one is based off his IDW comics version, the other off the G1 toy/cartoon. Both Deathsaurus

Delaying the G1 one is clever strategy, they may get me to buy the IDW version even if I hadn't really planned it :D

The DJD certainly could’ve used more time to develop in the comics, and that would’ve helped them. As it is, if they do come back in IDW Phase 3, taking IF’s approach and making them a Combiner team is probably the safest bet to keeping them around. And, it doesn’t seem so far fetched that Tarn would whisper some mantra into everyone’s ear that would enable them to combine, with the logical Achilles’ Heel that you if just get Tarn to lose his concentration then the combination falls apart.

Still, only one member of the DJD managed to scavenge an existence for herself in the pages of Lost Light, which might’ve made her a priority...

~ Also trying to keep this post somewhat relevant ~

Alas, I don’t think there’s that much enthusiasm for Nickel, though I quite liked her in design and persona—and she’s a quadchanger!

So—grievous as some might find the following, but— just going by page count suggests that maybe the girls of the Lost Light are a bigger deal than the DJD. Perhaps, then, completing this cover is the more compelling proposition...

Granted, I very much doubt we’ll see toys of Anode and Lug anytime soon, though Siege seems like an excellent opportunity to make a weaponizer out of Lug, like Cog and Brunt. Meanwhile, SXS Nautica is in limbo, and I don’t think anyone has announced a Velocity, yet.

However, Nickel and ‘Saurus is enough for now, though that does remind me that I should get around to the long form version of The Dragon’s Dentist! :D

Maybe, but I do not think it is the reason. MMC should start working on D-zef even before Mors.

Well, I do not care, I still have interest about all of them.

What else could MMC use this mold for, any thoughts or guesses. Perhaps a TM2 Megatron

I'd prefer not, there's already 3.5 of those in various forms of released-development stages. MMC is always pretty creative with their asterisks so beyond the red geist for g1 I'm sure they'll cook up something insane for the idw, I'm pretty sure I'll end up with the asterisk vers. though as I think PX will hit the market first. Heck it be cool if they took idw, and Inventamagna and made them into TFPrime beasts

I'm a big Nickel and Saurus shipper, so I'm loving those pics.
But I guess I'm hoping PX has a price closer to 100 than 200, cause I'm sure MMC's offering will be great, but it's a bit more than I am comfortable spending for one bot who is not a citybot.

Planet x's price was already announced. Was $169.99 but is supposedly being reduced by $10
