Not that I've seen and if the Continuum version doesn't have its own thread then that's a shame.

 

The MMC community didn't see a reason to make multiple treads for Continuum verison of figures. It's a nice way of embracing both the idw tf community and the grandpa genwunner community together instead of keeping them divided. There's already such a great separation between the two, as well as over saturation on 3p g1 treads in the forums.

 

If a Red Geist comes to be, that deserves its own thread.

What? I'm simply talking about ease of search and being able to find pertinent info about the product you want without having to rift through a bunch of talk about another to find it. It has nothing to do with people being fans of one series or another... at all.

A lot of times people don't even know retools and repaints exist because the news and updates are posted in a thread for the original item. Again; ease of use.

All this talk is making me excited again. At least I'm not the only one that's been waiting for this to come in stock. Rejoice brothers and sisters, the time is near!

 

Big reason why I don't like how the Flame Toys thread is done in News and Rumors. Throwing it all together has made that nigh unusable.

 

I stopped checking the flames toys thread because it's all thrown together. 3K figures and model kits both in the same thread. I'll just check their Twitter for updates.

 

As someone who doesn't care all that much about accuracy, I was perfectly happy with Planet X's Deathsaurus. As time went on, some of the deign choices (mainly the, IMO, bad usage of diecast) of the Planet X version started to sway my opinion on it. As a result, MMC's Deathsaurus started to look much better to me.

Basically what I'm saying is, I preordered D-Zef (from TCP, since it looks like they'll be getting him soon). I will say this, I prefer Planet X's dragon mode over MMC's Kaiju? mode, but I still like it.

 

I wish I could splice together elements of both PX and MMC's. Glue the PX dragon mode, robot legs, and wing inserts to the upper body of MMC and I'd be the best of both worlds. The added wing pieces are a very nice unnecessary extra but combined with the MMC translucent chest piece would look work a whole lot more cohesive.

 

I don't love the translucent wing pieces, but I'm with you on the rest.

Still, I'm probably gunna have D-Zef in bot mode most of the time, so, if anything, I'd just like an Eagle Boost that works with normal D-Zef so that their chest wouldn't be bare if I wanted to display Lion Boost springing to attack. Or, more simply, a Toy Hax sticker or just a painted version of the naked chest piece would also make that kind of display a little nicer.

Thus, if MMC felt there was enough demand for it, an ideal D-Zef accessory set for me would include

- A Painted Bare Chest
- A Normal D-Zef Compatible Eagle Boost
- A Living Metal Destroying Cannon

Granted, I have no expectation of that ever happening.  

 

Absolutely. This forum is one of very few to not only survive in an era where most communities are moving to social media platforms instead and a big reason of it is that this is such a great and organized resource for everything. Why folks go out of their way to mess that up is beyond me.

 

I just got D-Zef, I lucked out and got one with no problems (that I can see, so far).

Forgive me for not reading through the entire 157 pages of this thread to find out if it's been answered already. Is there a translation of what is written on the sword? I tried cross-referencing with Cybertronian alphabets, but nothing seems to match. Is it something else?

EDIT: adding pics to see if anyone recognizes the font style.

 

I don't think so, but I also figured it was just the Cybertronian alphabet for his name.

It would be pretty sweet if it was an engraving from Esmeral, but I kinda doubt that.
