I wonder what compelled MMC to sell these as only a two-pack.

Easy answer: money. Design 1 figure people want and tweak it into another character people didn't want. By making 2 figures with the same engineering the overhead on figure 2 is lower so the profit is higher. By forcing people to buy both at once, their profit is higher and we get stuck with a shitty brawn just to buy what we DID want.

I like Brawn more, lol. If anyone wants to split a pack (Brawn for me, Guzzle for you) HMU. I'm in Texas as far as shipping is concerned.

EDIT: Wow, lots of offers! Have someone who is local that I plan to work with but if that falls through I'll let y'all know.

70-75 for guzzle by itself, I'd buy. 120 for the two pack, nope.

Me too. I refuse to buy this, as much as I want Guzzle. I cannot reward any company doing this kind of thing.

Hoping the price will drop a little bit, $100 is what I want to pay for them. Don't mind the Brawn but would have liked it more if they would have been separate. Think they will go well with the Maketoys Trash-Talk, Cogwheel and Rear End. Just need to find the Maketoys Grouch somewhere to add to the display.

Only the early stuff it seems. I bet this will be an exception if stores end up with piles of unsold units. That Brawn is an albatross around the neck of this set.

I for one can't wait for this set. I wanted a great Guzzle and it looks like that's what I'm getting.

Actually the Rodimus mould has been dropping in value too. Only one mould has maintained its value very well and that's the Impactor/Commotus mold. In fact I sold my Commotus for a ridiculous price.

I know. Sold mine too for a ridiculous amount, but Roadbuster's price is just so so.

And do NOT forget the Jaegertron mold. It's value is totally trash.
