I think you're going to have to get over MMC basically making each and every figure bigger than you want, or it won't be a lot of fun.

 

I really do wish MMC would get better with getting their releases out in a timely manner.


And no, ramping up production to get out a figure "the boss" wants doesn't count.

This is perfect. He looks beautiful.

 

I have no problems with the figures that should be Voyagers like Spartan. I have problems with figures that should be Deluxes like Rodimus and the rest.

For example, based on "MMC scale" Kultur is perfectly sized with Generations Swerve or Maketoys Trash Talk. However, Reveal The Shield Cyclonus is also perfectly sized to go along with Generations Tailgate or Maketoys Rearend and they still decided to make a bigger Cyclonus (which is a piece of crap look and design-wise so it made the fact of ignoring it much easier).

MMC scale is simply all over the place.

A Rodimus that is just as tall as Springer is simply wrong.

 

Too bad they don't have a Drift prototype there also.

MP car bots are voyagers.

Rodimus will be voyager sized.

Generations Springer is larger than a MP car bot.

Thus Springer will be larger than Rodimus.

He's a remold of Drift.

Drift ends up looking a little like Wing after he (Deadlock) decides he wants to be a good guy and also uses Wing's swords.

Also, based on the display Rodimus will be even as tall as MMC Whirl which is also wrong.

There is a bit of free space there before they're considered something else.

Azalea is a deluxe-PLUS. She's larger than a deluxe but smaller than a voyager.

Springer may be voyager sized, but he's taller than other voyagers.

 

Not taller than recent Voyagers.

And even if he was slightly taller than old Voyagers, a Rodimus who gets so close to his size is still wrong.

Also, Azalea is not "Deluxe-PLUS", she's Deluxe compared to recent Deluxes.

 

He's barely half a centimeter taller than mp car bots.

 

She's larger than older deluxes I guess then? She's larger than Windblade, Chromia and the like.

It's too bad because Azalea was MMCs first foray into the IDW stuff and they made her a deluxe. If she didn't look so fantastic, I probably wouldn't want her. I'm personally just not into deluxes and enjoy a voyager sized collection.

I'm just waiting on MMC to do a proper (voyager sized lol) Nautica.
