So after drooling over my friends MMC Carnifex I broke down and ordered my own. But I was saddened that I wasn't going to get the bonus harpoon attachment as it was a pic exclusive. So I decided to make my own to shoot my Carnifex/Overlord in the eye with. My materials are: ============== -plastic coated picture frame braided wire -Gundam model joint socket caps -super glue -second attachment piece from MMC Spartan -exact knife -wire cutters I first trimmed a Gundam socket down to fit in the second hand attachment port that came with Spartan. A sacrifice I know but worth it in the end. After I used another Gundam socket/joint cap that fit the hook's end and glued it to one end of the precut length of wire. I then glue the other end to the second hand attachment port and let it set overnight. Once dried it is sturdy and the drill bit and harpoon bit can be swapped out. I chose picture frame wire as it's bendable and can be coiled up and you can get some dynamic poses with it. Overall easy and simple. Enjoy.
Nice work. It was silly of the company to omit the harpoon from the regular version, as it's his regular weapon. That's why I never bothered to buy it.
