Not bad. Between colors and tooling they did a good job turning such a menacing form heroic. I only wish they retooled the claws to be flat. If that's the straight up plastic color, I wonder if it's doable (without harming the other modes)

Still has the same issues with the alt modes and superfluous detail, but I do like the head and colors. Good to see this is still coming and wasn't axed.

Well, when I thought I could go from here without buying anymore third party figures after Hexatron. I think I might try to get this one because I don't see Hasbro doing a proper six-changer (GS or Sixshot) anytime soon. At least not one that wouldn't have some parts, alt modes, or articulation sacrificed to stay within Hasbro's budget.

Don't forget that Hexy/Grandus' gun-mode can be done in a G1-style as well!

(If you look closely, you will note that the wolf-head can be used as a makeshift 'trigger'; and I'm guessing the same will be true with Grandus' rhino-head).

Personally, I think the G1-style gun-mode is heaps better - I don't even bother with the standard configuration any more!

Terminus Hexatron can. Grandus Hexatron is slightly different as he doesn't come with the long guns.

daimchoc, I realise the Continuum/Grandus guns are different to the ones Terminus has, but looking at the tank-mode pic here, I don't see why it can't pull off much the same pistol configuration i.e. with the guns mounted inside the robot-mode legs to form a 'double-barrelled' pistol. [Side note: if you or anyone else has Continuum, please confirm if this is the case or not, as I'd be very interested to know].

Or were you referring to the absence of the Terminus sword-sheaths/guns in Grandus?

Because on that note, it is interesting that they have gone the Continuum-route of ditching the swords and sheaths, when the old prototype pic included them (see below).

It probably doesn't matter much for Grandus, but if they eventually make a Shadow Maru version, I'd imagine most people would want the swords (and ninja stars), to keep it faithful to the original.

He's not a Transformer. He's from the Brave series J-Decker. His original toy is a retool of G1 Sixshot.

If you'e interested in his story, he's a ninja that's part of a sentient robot police force.
