How’re the ratchets in the legs? I think that’s the main (if not only) thing the re-issues change.

 

They seem fine to me. The shoulder ratchets are another story, but they came with replacements.

 

I went ahead an preordered a reissue Incursus (aka Onslaught) hoping to get better hip ratchets for combined mode. I have two sets of the initial release, one for bot/alt mode and the other for combined. I installed the upgraded shoulder ratchets but man....those hips are a nightmare. Hoping the upgrade will allow me to enjoy the big bot again because other than those loose hips, I love this combiner.

 

Yeah, the reissue joints are much better, for both the hips and the combined shoulders.

 

I’m waiting on my re-issue pre-order, which will hopefully be released not too long after the Spring Festival in China.

 

Is there anyone has made toon color boots for him?


Also any1 applied rubber grip under his feet? What did you guys use and can you put them in places that won't get in the way of transformation?

Can't speak for anyone else, but mine is pretty stable.

 

Wobbly, no. But I sure can’t figure out of I have Brawl locked /tabbed in all the way in combined mode.

 

I’ve seen reviews that show bad stability for the original G1 combiner, but G2 or re-issues purportedly fix that with new ratchets.

 

Hip stability is fine on mine (initial release) but the shoulders are weak :/

 

Put me down for specific details on where and what to buy from a hardware store to stop feet slipping. Even when you use the silver slippers of the upgrade kit to give more surface area, the legs want to spread slightly. GCreation included small rubber inserts for their take on Volcanius (Shuraking). As did Cang with Thunderking/Predaking. There's gotta be some store or supplier thats makes and sells these things........

 

"Rubber Non Slip Pads Self-Stick 2 Pieces Black Rubber Pads Anti Skid 4x6 inch" on Amazon could work. Cut to fit.

 

My favorite of the set. Apparently my fiance ordered me one for Christmas that didn't show up on time and she didn't realize it, so since I had already ordered one for myself a while back I now have two. Happy to have a bot mode copy to mess around with while the other stays combined.

 

Any word on when the Incursus reissue (with better ratchets) will hit? P&TY

TY, I was going off of TCP’s site, I figured the newer release will include the tighter ratchets.

 

The next release will be the THIRD
It already got upgraded on the second.
And its easy to tell them apart, first release is shipped in altmode in a window-box, second in robot mode in a closed box.

So it not even hard to tell if you have the upgraded ratchet version

 

I'm waiting for Impetus. I'm hoping the rerelease has the fixed head/neck that apparently the G2 version has.

 

I heard from BBTS that shipments of the G1 re-issues are due shortly, despite hearing that factory problems have everything delayed until after CNY at the earliest.
