Chogoking has posted some pics on Facebook recently including a huge black & white pic of the G2 Assaultus team standing in front of Assaultus. I can't find where I read someone asking him if this is the finished artwork for G2 Assaultus boxed set - to which he answered no. If anyone's got a better close up pic could they share this please? regards, MJC

 

It's hard to get to show up on my camera phone, but the break is odd----much of it is very "powdery", a surface like fine sandpaper. I wonder if it was a material issue? Never seen plastic break that way.

 

I finally finished my G2 Combaticons shelf. Honestly, I need to find a bigger shelf that doesn’t hide the original G2 figures so much. I tried posing them like the artwork on the original cards.

It is hard to believe that G2 was almost 30 years ago at this point. At that time, it seemed like G1 had been such a long time ago. My how time flies. Message to everyone: Enjoy your time here as much as you can. Cheers

So i contacted MMC about Onslaught's hip and knee ratchets.

I got the first run, and they upgraded it later on.
Getting upgraded parts from them will cost 47usd.
So I'm looking to upgrade, should i buy the parts of maybe instead just order the reissue and sell my first edition...?
What do you guys think?

 

That's pretty steep. I'd probably try to sell the original and rebuy if it were me.

Yikes that’s steep. If possibly try having the store you bought from ask for replacements. Almost $50 for a few replacement parts is nuts.

I doubt that. It's not worth a customer potentially spending hundreds with them to get a short term 47 dollars. Mom MMC figures are around a 100 dollars, so what would be the point of scaring you off for less than one figures profit?

 

If you told em before hand about your situation, he definitely is. Never a good idea to tell a seller about replacement parts costing anything unless they themselves charge for it normally.

This is why Showz continues to be the store I like. They’ve never took any money off me for replacement parts unless I didn’t buy the figure from them.

 

It was the first bot i bought in 25 years, hadn't even heard of Showz at the time. Now i know better  

 

How much of the $47 US quote was for freight shipping? I'm curious to know because whenever I've requested a replacement part its only cost $10 US to ship Down Under. Also, did you get any photos of the replacement parts they'd be supplying for this transaction? I'm kinda curious because I own 2 x original 1st release Incursus y'see.
