Just got an email for the G2 Box Set.

 

Bummer waiting on the G1 Box set. Maybe they have a surplus of the G2 bots so they're issuing them as a box set.

 

BBTS / TFSource has the Assaultus Regenesis Sets for pre-order.

 

Oh wow perfect timing. I wonder if it's actually a single box though.

Can't possibly be a new production run so soon so I guess left overs are being repackaged.

Back before I knew if we could sell the g2 as one big thing or not I suggested mmc replicate the old g1 style box layout, I hope they've done that if it is a new box cause that'll be so cool.

Maybe Ruination will gradually get made over next year and then we can drop the whole fuckin thing all at once lol.

 

I would prefer some heads up to start setting aside funds for Oxination if that were the case, though I dunno that it would immediately sell out either.

 

Well damn, guess I was wrong.

Chances are good. Better than Battle Gaia, which I don't think we have plans for. But the next repaint will be one of these three, can tell you that much. Then maybe a fourth final one, also from this lineup. That's the plan last I heard.

 

What are the chances of upgraded hands like the one for Defensor?

Most likely, it's the most well known Ruination deco.

 

I'd put money down for a Battle Gaia set.

 

Admittedly, even if MMC produced a Battle Gaia deco of Assaultus, it wouldn’t be able to fully Scramble, though it would be gorgeous.

Still, I’d be happy with Ruination, though I wonder if I should get FansHobby’s Scourge or hold out hope for a Scourge from MMC’s Stormbringer Prime, as LazyAza suggested this summer.

 

For what it's worth, I'll absolutely buy a set of the middle option but would skip both of the camo options on the left and right. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I want Battle Gaia too.

(Now, US non-camo toy colors for Ruination, with the blue Armorhide? Those, I could talk myself into as well...)

 

I know Baldigus would be the more popular repaint, but I think a Battle Gaia would also make sense if they plan to repaint their Defensor into Guard City.

 

I'm just glad Bruticus is selling so well that they're doing third and maybe fourth color variants----it helps fund other new molds/cover losses of ones that sold poorly. Thus, resources to create more combiners in the future....

 

Knowing the universe's sense of humor it will be all of them but the cartoon accurate version.

 

An Ocular Max Megatronia would be cool, though I suppose they would make more sense for Infinite Finity.

 

^This! I skipped the G2 repaint but I will definitely go in for one of the next sets.

 

Wonder if this means we're going to get some AWESOME artwork by ChogoKing of G2 Assaultus himself on the big box??!!
