just got G2 incursus and his left leg doesn't seem to slide in all the way when the button is held? it's strange because the right leg collapses in completely and without problems. any ideas what might be causing this?

I looked inside the leg and found this little piece at an angle and preventing the leg from sliding all the way 20221025_192939_1_1.jpg its supposed to be slid into this slot Capture+_2022-10-25-19-36-58.png
does anyone know what purpose it serves or if it's necessary?

That looks like a ratchet tab of some sort. Any joint on him that's non-clicky compared to the other side?

that seems to be it, it's very quiet but there is a click on the other side. its not a joint that seems to need a ratchet to be tight so I'm not gonna bother disassembling the leg to fix it

So I sanded down slightly those 2 areas as pointed out by @Peaugh with minor improvements. The real problem is as @TrueLagoon pointed out a few pages back - the switch on the circuit board. It sits flush with the bottom of the board instead of protruding 1 or 2mm - like the G1 version correctly does. The light up feature works without fail when you've removed the head and triggered the switch. Has anyone had the same problem and have they contacted MMC for a replacement?

Can you maybe get pics of the difference in how the boards sit within the head?

I have the same problem, here is how the circuit board is blocking the switch:

Ah yeah, I see the issue. I have found that the longer circuit board is just excess board material, I was able to use a small nail file to file away the excess and expose the button, which works, but with the sanded nubs now the head in non-combined mode is a little looser-gooses on the neck joint. Has anyone gotten a functional one? Not sure if I should roll the dice on picking up a replacement or just bugging MMC for a replacement head/neck socket assembly.

Unfortunately I now also have a head thats a bit more wobbly as a result of the sanding. Not keen on trying to custom sand the board itself for fear of making it worse. Hoping MMC have taken steps to remedy the problem and supply replacement parts. Will probably need a new tech assembly too.

Awesome video! Anyone know what the background music is? It almost sounds like something that would have played in the G1 toon but not quite.

The music is from a Transformers genre actually - Galaxy Force - Japanese equivalent to Transformers: Cybertron. There were 2 CD soundtracks made in 2005 of all the tracks used in the show. Highly recommend picking them up if you can find them!
