It is the trigger or the contacts? Bending the contacts a bit so they exert more pressure on the batteries may help, I think I may have done so on my copy.

 

It's the little microswitch. If I press it directly with a pen or something, it triggers every time. It's just mounted to its circuit board just a little too far in from the edge so that it's basically flush with the circuit board instead of being a tiny bit protruding. I think if I add a few layers of tape or something onto the neck piece that's meant to press the switch it'll be good.

 

Personally I would glue a tiny piece of plastic to the end of the switch I think, making it longer. (without actually opening mine up to have a look at how it works again).

Wow, that thing is so hideous, it’s kinda beautiful in its own way. It clashes so bad yet is so cohesive. Not quite my cup of tea but seeing the combined mode, I’m gaining some appreciation for that colour scheme.
I’m happy to see people enjoying it either way though.

Got my Incursus yesterday. Not sure if it’s just me or does it look like Incursus leg looks…small? Not sure if I’m transform it wrong or it just looks like that in person (in photo doesn’t look that bad to me).

 

He doesn't need a combining gun, since he already has a second rifle. Also, Blast Off was never given his toy weapons other than his pistol, so they'd have to make some new guns that can attach to the shuttle/robot mode.

 

I've always preferred Mega-Octane's US toy colors of Dolrailer's, including the grey combined mode parts. Unfortunately I fully expect if it is made it will be made in full Japanese colors since that was what was in the toon.

 

Yup, it's one of the few times I felt the US got the better version.

 

Finally got the team together! Incursus arrived today! I may be selling most of my MP figures, but this crew is definitely not going anywhere! Love them!

I also had to open my g2 Incursus head and confirm that the electronics were working, but they were just seated in such a way that they weren't activating properly.

 

Yeah, I got it fixed. It was working when I had the front part of the head removed, but not when assembled. Turns out the higher tabs here on the inner neck assembly needed to be slightly sanded down.



The way they slotted into the helmet halves they took up the whole slot and didn’t allow for any sliding up or down, and it needs just a *little bit* of wiggle room to press the LED trigger.

 

My Probus came with a part of one of his arms missing. I contacted TCP and they said they’d deal with it but that was two months ago and they’ve yet to update me. Any way I could contact MMC directly about this instead?

 

The legs on bot mode are correct, his legs are bit on the short side compared to how chunky he is.

For combined mode, you need to collapse the legs back in on the sliders. Makes him shorter but more stable and correct.
You also need to fold the small outer flaps of his chest piece forward
