Other way around----he's saying they should color the piece above the crotch piece, which is currently blue, green. That would make the torso look a little shorter.

 

They’re not fully OX, but they do take some influences. To say they’re cartoon like everyone else is a bit of an exaggeration.

Hmm. If I could take MMC's Onslaught's backpack and slap it on Zeta Blitzkreig, I'd be pretty much set as far as Onslaughts go. But as it is, there are just too many funky looking things about MMC's version. Combined with it being Blitzkrieg's size, and Blitz otherwise matching the toon aesthetic better than MMC's (which is weird because the MMC limbs nail the toon aesthetic)... IDK what move I will make.

 

I don't think there's a photoshop magic for this, but it's more on where the legs connect to the hips. Thanks for trying though.

Pretty sure he meant the G1 toy. Swindle is only a Jeep in the cartoon because the animators misinterpreted the G1 toy.

I think my problem with Onslaught is the definition from his torso to waist. Like if you look at it from the ab crunch he’s just got a really low waist. Maybe if it was just that upper bit which could compress more to have a bit of difference, I think it would work better.

 

In the end you can't have your cake and eat it too. The tech is just not quite there yet.

It is what it is. You are comfortable with the trade off, you go ahead, if not, well there's no harm checking out what other companies will be doing.
