No preview for Volatus as of yet. Only pictures. @Paik4Life did use Volatus in the recent Incursus video.

 

I like the light up feature. I'd rather not wait just for a head repaint.
The only repaint I'm interested in is a Ruination. Outside of that I kinda don't care what color this guy is. Still gonna buy him.

 

Nobody is going to buy Armageddon from me, so it is going into storage...  

Fortunately it was cheap so it's not a big deal... My only purchase regret...

 

This likely won't work--the Bruticus head is likely a pretty close fit around the Onslaught head, and would scrape multiple corners/surfaces every time it's transformed. Onslaught's head must be molded in color, if it's going to last past one or two transformations.

 

Maybe you could tell MMC your head arrived broken and try to get them to send you another one?

That'd be rude as hell, complaints aside I wouldn't do that. I've literally never had a problem with an MMC figure QC-wise other than a few self-inflicted dings in some paint. Hell, I've only had problems with three third party figures: KFC Simba, FT Quietus, and Maketoys Galaxy Meteor.

 

It's tongue in cheek. Taking the piss out of someone who felt entitled to a second XTB Overheat gun so he lied about a break to get it.

 

Ah, what a shitty thing to do. I just think the black helmet makes Onslaught look badass, makes him look like he's a warrior wearing a fallen soldier's helmet.

 

I'd love to see the combined mode articulation shown off more. I know Brawl hasn't been shown as a color prototype yet, but how this balances in dynamic poses will really be the deciding factor on whether or not I go for this.

I've seen all the articulation done separately, thanks to Paik4Life, but I just wish they'd given him a 2nd Swindle to show off some independent articulation. In theory it works, but the feet look smaller in proportion to the chest and the ab crunch isn't ratcheted.

 

Both Paik and Volatus are not ready yet...

Yeah I’d have thought they’d make that ab crunch ratcheted for sure. I mean they ratcheted the waist swivel, seems only logical.

 

So these guys are coming out, what, about every three months apart? That's a bit faster than MMC's last combiner offering. And these seem to be better designed *cough* Kubalsky *cough* as well. It is a wonder though why they're releasing the torso bot third/fourth instead of last in case any last minute fiddling/fixes need to be done to make the combined mode more stable and better balanced overall.

 

If there are still designing/re-designing Onslaught shoulders, no way it is going to make it out this year, right? Wouldnt it mean like February or after CNY?

Are they? Impression I got was that the redesigns were done already.

 

I too, would prefer a black Onslaught head.

 

And yet the preorders are saying December, and they've already said he's coming before Blast Off now (who's been scheduled for January).
