Nice, and nice that they did that.

But honestly, I don't think that mould works that well for Primal. But this IDW Optimus mould would be almost perfect for a Cybertronian Primal: arm cannons, possibility of shoulder cannons, the middle of the chest protrudes...

I think Primal from this mould would work wonderful, but alas, it likely won't happen unless it's an exclusive at some time. Probably too similar to this Nemesis version in colours.

I've considered for a moment getting this Nemesis to mod/paint it into Primal, but no. And I don't like Nemesis Prime (love RiD Scourge, but that's it) so I'm skipping the second release as well. Skipped the first because I don't like the G1 Optimus Prime colours that much, was hoping for a nice repaint, but guess not.

 

If I get this guy at PSX, am I guaranteed the extra grey guns?

I really want the two sets.

 

Pretty sure it was a limited first run only. So unless you find someone with 1st run edition you are out of luck.

Yeah it was weird. And only certain locations got it. Like bbts and tfsource etc all first runs had it. Psx had it but some parts of world didnt even though it was 1st run. Remember reading someone got one from bbts recently which was a 2nd or 3rd and it did not have the extra set.

 

I guess I'll just take my chance with BBTS. Fingers crossed.

Actually, someone had a discussion with me and said their recent BBTS order had the grey guns. You might get them.

 

at this point I would say its a crap shoot whether you get a 1st run set or not. *shrug* Some people said they did, some said they didn't.

 

That was me, the current In stock listing at bbts only includes the black guns. I was super disappointed but the figure is great so that disappointment didn’t last long lol

 

I talked myself out of the original release, but the cape and damaged head of this new one has pushed me over the edge. Pre-ordered!

 

I really wanted Optus pexus but I didn’t have a spot for him, so I decided to start a transformers autocracy/ pre war shelf. I think Maas toys skiff looks pretty decent with him.

 

It’s my Bee of choice too to go with Optus. He’s fantastic, and if you want a Ratchet and Ironhide the Planet X versions don’t look too bad next to him. The scale is pretty much spot on.

 

I liked the look of skiff a lot more than the new Cybertronian bee that hasbro just put out and I managed to find him for $14 so I’m pretty happy.
Here is my autocracy cast so far, mostly figures I got in siege that were replaced with better version in my display. I kinda like pexus towering over everyone else. And bee doesn’t look too bad with the siege cast.

 

I’ve got the Cybertronian Bee on preorder, since he’s not due in the UK for a little while yet but Skiff is fantastic. I got mine on sale so even more of a steal. I really wish Maas got around to doing their tetrajet seekers before they went under, sucks what happened but I won’t repeat it.

 

Yea Maas toys looked like it was prepping to be a contender against mmc but it all fell apart. I’m still thinking about getting their crushed pipes stand for my carnifex though

 

I agree a Stormbringer Megatron would be the perfect compliment to this figure, but that being said I would prefer the Fusion Cannon from Origins as it just looks more imposing in my opinion

Now that I think about it they could do what Iron Factory did and include both so people have the option

 

I might need that Stormbringer repaint...

Oh, and if you don't have Garatron Thunderstorm, correct that.
