I had my doubts the listing was accurate but mine shipped right away so it does appear to actually be in stock!

 

I have really taken a liking to turning around the wrist mounted silver guns so they look like smokestacks which are surprisingly absent from an Optimus/ orion.

Also it provides more room and clearance for the hands to be able to articulate them and hold his guns without them getting knocked off constantly

Alright y'all. Between reviews and the pics here, I preordered this dude because holy fuck a figure this poseable while still being able to Transform is unreal.

My question, what is the issue some people have with the back of the legs breaking/stressing and how exactly is it avoided? Which part is supposed to be in a certain position?

Nothing is breaking, just stressing.

People haven't been resetting the leg panels, and if you don't and then push his thighs down to put him back in truck mode they get caught and it stresses the plastic just below the knees.

They have a lip to them you can easily get your finger nail in to or a flat tool, you just want to nudge them back in to their default vertical position and all will be fine.

 

So I’ve been looking at lots of pics of this beautiful guy And I have a question; is he ever so slightly shorter than Tyranatron? I am cool with that but I am curious because I am a scale nut  .

Anybody have head to head pics of them looking at each other to see if they are eye to eye or not?

Why wouldn't they? Same company made them for the same line, it seems like that it would be a given that they scale together. Not trying to be a dick, I'm just not sure where the concern came from.

 

Well I am talking decimal point differences here. Why? Because I am a scale nut! Not that it’s size would change my decision to buy this awesome figure! But I like to mix and match figures from different lines and this figure will go with (most) WFC figures if I go by the Movie/Prime/Masterpiece scale, where Op and Megs tower over carbots

 

Looking at it I think we really need a MMC Megatron 2.0 with the same articulation as Pexus so we can have this same picture but Megatron would have his arms crossed

 

Lol that would make for a fun image. I don’t know, don’t get me wrong I would by a 2.0 Megatron, but Tyranatron is really great and will be hard to top. I don’t know if it’s needed.

 

I wouldn’t say no to this. Especially one who doesn’t have a make believe alt-mode.

Perhaps a Stealth Bomber version if they “couldn’t” do a 2.0 of Autobot Megs.

 

Considering that GCreation's is nowhere to be seen and I find GT's to be somewhat lacking, YES!

I'll share some of him with Gcreation Rebel eventually, and others, he's fantastic, but bigger than I expected.

Speaking for myself I was alittle worried because I'm a scale nut and while I don't care if there close to the same height are better yet megs be taller, I just don't want Optimus taller then megs just doesn't do it for me. And yes same company that I own atleast 20+ figures of and can sometimes be off on scale to me even if it's right to someone else.

 

Yeah look at Hasbro, the WFC Optimus, Megs, Magnus, Ironhide and Ratchet are too small. And that line’s big points was its scale. They are off by around .75 to 1 inch . This 13% to 16% difference may be perfectly fine for most, but I would prefer them to be bigger.

Not raging, I own and enjoy the WFC figures. I am just nitpicking my collection and taking advantage of great 3rd party companies like MMC and Planet-X to fill that whole!.
