Not sure if you've caught the recent conversation, but it seems Downbeat is available at Toy Arena.

Small caution with this guy... it's possibly come up before and I missed it (lacked context so wouldn't have seemed relevant) but be mindful of the blue panels which retract on the back of his calves. Trying to put his legs back in all the way (they were clearly out too long) and the narrower bits up by the knee wound up with some nice stress marks. Nothing that can't be cleared up with a bit of heat, which is exactly what I did, but concerning all the same if you find yourself a little frustrated that they won't retract the way they seem they should.

    20210316_201553.jpg

Pictured is the side I had to heat treat. Ironically that side goes in easier than the other now, but it's still a very tight fit. There's clearly some kind of trick to it that I'm just not figuring out 'cause I'm having all sorts of trouble getting the non-treated side to go down properly.

*ed: Just found the trick. That panel can collapse (presumably to extend knee range), and if it's collapsed too far it just catches on something inside the lower calf. Make sure it's as far out as it can go before trying to collapse the leg (bend and unbend the knee and it should come out - there's no way you'll get anything in there to lever it).

Been discussed several times. Hit the stress marks with a hair dryer and they should mostly go away.

I was gonna buy Roller to go with Pexus, but Tfsource upped the price from 109 to 135 after they realized people wanted to pair it with OP. I don't care if he's worth the price. I'm not supporting price gouging your customers.

TFSores did the same thing with Gcreation Rebel, which is why I opted to stick with my broken copy from BBTS rather than get a refund and replace him with a copy from TFSores (the only place with him in stock, of course). Price gouging loses you money!

    Same. 3 now. It'll be okay. :p

ToyArena.com has Cylindrus for $109.99 and $6.99 shipping. No sales tax (I think).

I had Tarn and GS G2 Megs in my shopping cart with TFSource over the holidays and gradually watched them jack up the prices. I was like Hell with them.

I asked TFS a question about paying off a preorder early and it took them about 7 days to answer.
I asked TCP about the GT bomber Megs reissue and they answered me in about 2-3 hours.

I feel like in "niche" business such as 3p figure sales, customer satisfaction should be a big priority.

I had an item returned to them from Fedex because of an undeliverable address mistake on their end, and they didn't even bother to tell me. I had to actually call them to find out what happened and they were all like "Oh, yeah, that came back to us a while back." I don't order from them unless it's the only option, even then I usually pass.

I've used ToyArena for two recent orders (Roller and Megs). Extremely reasonable pricing and the $7 shipping gets it across the country in 2-3 days very securely packed. They're my new go-to.

I am desperately trying to stop myself buying this guy, I do not need another prime yet everytime I see pictures of reviews I want to buy him. I think it's because I'm in a purchase lull just now with no preorders to pay off and nothing new to play with my brain just wants to buy more stuff.

I feel you man... too much Optimi... but!

Roller was just so outside of the box I wanted to get him for a while... The fantastic Optus just fueled the flames and gave me a fantastic excuse to get BOTH lol.

    :D

Just got him today and I am already in love.

Looks great, super posable and a lot fun to mess with. Love the pistons and the silver paint. Strong contender for toy of the year.

I sent Tfsource an email earlier about when they're expecting their shipment, but honestly I'm probably just gonna cancel my PO and order him from ToyDojo tomorrow.

So I guess I must be the only one crazy enough to panel line my Optus Pexus? The rest of my MMC collection is already panel lined/detailed, so I just had to follow suit with their latest and greatest release.
