Big question - Reformatted or OX?

 

OX hasn’t strayed from g1 have they? Definitely seems like it would be Reformatted given it’s IDW

 

I selfishly want it in Reformatted, so that it's in smaller scale than MP, because I have Garatron's Thunderwing.

Please be Reformatted scale. This thing is dope, looks pretty far along too...

 

Really like this design, always waiting for Iron factory ver 2,0 of it like Soundwave and ultra magnus.
Guess i keep waiting. The tire place in the wrong spot. It should be in the middle of shoulder, not in the back. And that is the main feature, so very inaccuracy here

I would also prefer Reformatted, but those articulated fingers are a bit too much for that line.

 

Carnifex has articulated fingers, as does a few other releases i think

 

It's Reformatted. And pretty much as articulated as a Revoltech figure... But that transforms too.

 

...This might finally replace my iGear Faith Leader, esp with the Reformatted scale and the high quality I've come to expect from this line!!

Also GEEZ what posability!! I am amazed and highly likely to purchase and no mistake!!

I think it's pretty much accepted that Ocular Max is their G1 line, and Reformatted is their IDW line. This will definitely be in Reforrmatted.

Also, I'm guessing this is most directly based on Milne's slight re-design for Orion Pax in MTMTE, rather than Don Fig's original design in Stormbringer. I'm all for this, as I LOVE his MTMTE look, for example in one of the best time travel stories of all time: (Now just give us the rest of the characters in this scene, MMC!!!)



This announcement is such a great surprise; I'm already so excited for this figure. More MTMTE; wooooo!!!

 

This Optimus looks friggin' fantastic.

 

Yeah, it looks like Milne's design to me given the knees/forearm guns.
