It was definitely in another MMC figure's instruction book, but I don't follow MMC's Reformatted line very closely so I don't remember what figure came out back in December (or late November) for First Aid's images. Maybe Chromedome or the last DJD member?

Considering the original teaser had clear images of First Aid, Blades, and Hot Spot, but blurred images for Streetwise and Groove I would assume Hot Spot is the next one to get this treatment in instructions.

    @RVDA @hardreturn

The XTB's set is using clear plastic for their alt-modes :(  Can it be implemented in the Maximas Pro set too? I HATE PAINTED WINDOWS WITH ALL MY HEART...

Innocent, genuine question. This is supposed to be all built in, right? Hands, feet, and head are no removable, like Assaultus?

So...are the feet also all built in? In those renders, you see that the feet are quite large compared to Groove and Streetwise. Are we sure the feet aren’t a separate piece?

The feet and the armatures that connect them to the leg bots are stored in Hotspot.

Looks good, but I would have hoped that he would be the same size as Assaultus without the extra boots.

in my head cannon, Defensor could even be a bit smaller since he is a “civilian” robot and not a buffed fighter.

And yes, that thing needs clear windows badly. I can okay black painted windows (like Vortex), but light blue painted windows...

Aw man, I was hoping the boots wouldn’t be required for them to be the same height. That’s a bit of a shame. Tbf, it’s not that much, and I don’t mind that Defensor is taller than Bruticus cause Bruticus has a power advantage as a military man, but makes me feel a bit cheated for not buying the upgrade set.

Not that I feel the need to now, I guess in this scenario I’d have just liked Defensor to be smaller than this.
Oh yeah it’s so cool how they’re kept inside Hotspot. Super clever trick it seems. Here’s a vid if you’re interested to see it.

Spoilers for engineering I guess haha.

I'm very surprised it matches the booted Assaultus. It's not an issue for me since I prefer him with the boots anyway, but I can see many people being upset once they find out. Probably once they actually get Hot Spot since not everyone will catch the news now.

I feel the same with light colored clear windows, looks terrible on Fraudo for example. I don't mind smokey, black or dark blue, but clear or light blue look so terrible. The Windshield and driver/passenger windows on First Aid also are such a turn off in the new renders next to Assaultus.

But with Fraudo it makes sense, it's a jeep, and that’s how the jeeps' windshields look like.

Sacrificing the bot mode look isn't worth it.

It's fun that MMC Defensor sems to have legs slightly too long while the Xtb version seems to have legs too short. So far there isn't a 100% clear winner for me.

I also prefer MMC over XTB. Combaticons were good, while the XTB-Stunticons had some weird quality issues (Dead Ends left leg broke after first transformation). I also don't like the XTB Stunticons scale and I'm afraid XTB-Streetwise will also have Carbotsize, which is a bit too small for me.

I hope MMC will make a release announcement in the next weeks.

I like MMC's torso and head but I prefer XTB's limbs and overall height (51cm). Height is my ultimate deciding factor though, so i'll have to give it to XTB.
