Yep. Pure coincidence if it goes torso, arm, leg again. And Navigant is the left leg anyway. Fraudo was the right leg so the 2nd toy in each set has already been different placements.

Aid and Streetwise both had fantastic spots for badges. Some of the Combaticons were a bit iffy.

yeah onslaught was the shocker. The rest were pretty ok. Vortex went on ok but in copter mode it was upside down which admittedly does annoy me

 

Brawl too.

 

Really everyone but swindle and maybe blast off (don’t have him) are pretty rough. Onslaughts fine unless you get the upgrade. I ended up with a small one on each shoulder. Brawl got a small one on the breast and Vortex got a small one on the chest/landing gear

 

I went pure-toy for insignias on Assaultus, and that works well in most cases----but Maximus/HotSpot? There really doesn't seem to be many options, especially for the combined mode chest. Maybe fairly low, a small one? (admittedly, the toy couldn't have one on the combined chest either, but there's a missed opportunity here to rectify that...)

 

I've read quite a few pages of this thread in the hope it might put me off an expensive purchase. I remember how much I enjoyed my G1 Defensor toy, and Hotspot was one of my favourite bots. I was holding off until perhaps Newage made some Protectobots, but this 'all in one' thing seems so well thought out.

Sadly, you all seem to think the first two bots are great  

 

So are we looking at Hot Spot in June maybe?

 

Hate to break it to you, but there's a reason these two routinely topped "top 10 of 2022" lists. Streetwise especially is just absolutely fantastic.
Also, showz currently has a KO of g1 defensor for like $40.  

 

I saw all these comments about the Assaultus figures being rough and thought people were saying that the figures were bad. Nearly had a heart attack wondering what bizzaro world I fell in to. Just talking about symbol sticker placement though. That is a relief.

Hard to say but June feels too early. We haven't even seen a colored prototype yet. I don't see them going from 1st rough prototype to release in just 2-3 months.

 

Maybe I can just get Streetwise to check him out...

Back in November when I started taking notice of robots again, the first thing I did was search Ebay for the missing chest piece on my G1  

 

Lord no, they're some of my favorite figures in my collection and I'm bringing my next paycheck straight to Showz for my last component. Also need to get more stickers lol...

Just the one...... I can stop whenever I want to..... then again, what good is a leg without a body...

 

That is probably a good start as if you don't like him (which is not likely at all) he doesn't have any obvious combiner components so you won't be tempted to complete the set just because you already have part of a combiner.
