Does anyone know if i’m storing Streetwise’s gun wrong? It fits in the cavity but it rattles around. Is there a way to keep it in place?

HasTak during Prime Wars, yes. HasTak now with its current design philosophy of figures being as accurate as possible, no.

Blades is an entirely different figure. They have shown off renders and they aren't even close to each other. Even how they form the arms is different.

 

Oh wow HasTak retooled a figure when both characters are practically the same exact thing besides their colors. Every one that complains about Breakdown acts like it is a retool of Skids with their outrage.

 

Saying a Lamborghini is basically the same as a Ferrari is like saying that a cat is basically a dog.

 

Pretty much. All 4 Aerialbot limbs are the same jet, if that's the standard.

Can we please not get into this in this thread too? It's been debated ad nauseum already. This thread is for the awesomeness that is MMC, not whatever perceived mistakes were made with Hasbro's mainline figs.

Haha aaaand here’s my “please, I don’t need this turned into a stunticon thread” to add to the above.

 

I've been taking another look at the renders we've gotten so far and I must say, massive respect to MMC; so far their figures are pretty much exactly what the renders showed. Even First Aid's transformation is pretty much unchanged from that very early animation (where Streetwise and Hotspot were still fuzzy animation-less).

This also applies to their combaticons, all of their previews have been incredibly accurate representations of what their final figures turned out to be, and it's incredible they keep showing us updated renders as they get closer and closer to nailing down the final figure.

It gives me great confidence that the remaining members, including the combined mode, will match pretty closely what we've been "promised" based on the renders and animations so far.

That, and a big shout out to them for actually doing those animations, giving us a taste of what the transformations will be like, and actually previewing the entire combined mode and its articulation.

They're building a lot of trust with me with how open they are about where they're going and am absolutely excited to see the rest, even if we only get one figure a year (though I'd really hope we don't have to wait that long, if we do, we'll know it'll be worth the wait).

Big trust. Big respect. Keep it up like this and I'll happily jump into pretty much any combiner they make.

(And maybe, just maybe, we can hope they'll do amazing versions with such incredibly clean engineering of some more triple changers; would love to have especially Astrotrain and Blitzwing from their genius designers)

 

Save that for the MMC Stunticon thread (please MMC  ).

I would love an MMC Stunt set, and for that matter, absolutely any combiner set they choose to do. Bring em on! Just give them their own separate forum threads when they do.

 

This is the type of talk that enables Hasbro to continue pumping out their half-assed, lazily engineered figures and forced retools that aren’t indicative of the original character.

 

Received Navigant today. Shipping box looked like an accordion, but fortunately BBB had it packed well. No damage to the actual box or figure.

Haven't had time to do anything except release him, but pleasantly surprised. He's a lot more grey than pictures suggested. This is good, very good, because I find the Protectobots to be rather bland looking, especially the animation models, so this means that at least he will stand out in the group.

I love Navigabt but keep thinking that there should be some die cast in his legs some where and in Groove to give the combined mode a little more heft. Thoughts?
