I excited and anxious with Blades. I think his transformation is going to be fun like the others, but I am not looking forward to his rotars on his back. I hope they are more posable than what they appear in the pictures.

Man... I was putting streetwise into shin mode for the first time and that little piece that folds out to hold the hood in place absolutely went flying into the abyss...

I'm not gonna bother reaching out to bbts for a replacement, but has anyone else had this issue?

The one on mine popped out when I tried prying it out one time. But it didn't fly off into never-never-land, just fell on my desk and I was able to re-insert it easily enough.

Yes it's one of those joints that just pops in with the tension of the plastic. There's no pin or screw holding it. So if you can find it, you can pop it back in.

His plastic test proto was shown last month. He should hopefully have a painted sample at tfcon in march.

    Was it from the transformation?

Damn. Too long. We need him 3 months after the last one. If they don’t want to do that then stop making great figures

I rather have more quality over quantity. I mean these are expensive figures, I don't mind they take longer to figure out better options then just to rush them out. It will bite them in the butt at the end product.

Got my Navigant. He's just a really solid, well-designed figure. I wish MMC used a bit more paint, but nothing else to complain about.

It has just occurred to me that if this were HasTak, Blades would absolutely be a retool of Vortex, but I've just always taken it for granted that MMC would give us a totally new mold.

(I assume that's true? I hope that's true. Vortex was the one Assaultus bot I didn't love. Shoving the folded up tailfin into the chest always made me nervous, and sure enough, the back rotor broke after repeated transformations.)

Blades will absolutely be an original mold based on the renders we've seen so far. They are completely different helicopter shapes, and Blades had his legs and the combiner hand in the rear end, whereas Vortex has his in the cockpit.

I loved MMC's Vortex; the way his tail folds into the body felt genius to me, resulting in a kibble free robot. Far better than either Unique Toys' or Zeta's efforts in my opinion.

Really looking forward to the rest of Defensor; First Aid was on par with all of their combaticons and Streetwise was a step up, definitely their best so far (although admittedly he neither had to hide a foot nor a hand).

The wait will be hard, but hopefully worth it!

Ah the warm satisfaction of flying with a hand up your rear. Autobots know what's up.

I'd argue that the Probus mold is the best so far, but Streetwise is a close second. I have two g2 Probii I like him so much.

I would agree with you that Probus is perfect in all modes in looks. And his transformations and accessories are fun. His shoulder jint is a itte limited. I think their Streetwise is even more clever with the transformation. Both are winners.
