I'm either half asleep still or this thread has become another Stunticons thread. Or it's Schrodinger's TFW2005 thread and both things are simultaneously true.

 

I call in the Law of 3P threads where given enough time, all conversations will devolve to be scale rants, and somehow the Stunticons always worm their way in there due to car scale.

Just 3P threads?? Nah it is all TFW2005 threads. You can go to one of the many random threads on this site that discuss topics such as DC movies, Lego, or anything non-TF related and somehow TF scale will be brought up.

I feel like it's been brought up, but you can store Navigant's weapon in alt/leg mode. The only catch is that it doesn't fit securely the way Medicus' does, it rattles loose in a small space under Navigant's roof.



Aside from that oversight and a hood that doesn't want to stay tabbed into his back, Navigant has to be one of MMC's best figures to date. I think he's a step up from Medicus, who was already a step up from their Combaticons. Hopefully we don't have to go another year before the next one.

 

TFW has an idol it worships, and it is thine holy scale chart, passed down from on high.

Personally, I prefer when the scale chart is hated and only exists to annoy people.

 

I can see MMC making a TFCon exclusive out of that scale chart. Of course in their version, the combiners will not be as big.

I thought this was an interesting comparison. These 2 have a similar transformation for leg mode (top part of their alt modes fold over for leg mode). I know there’s an armature and foot from HotSpot, but that is a considerable size difference.

I have to say though, I’m just enthralled with Streetwise now that I have him in hand. A fantastic figure just like the rest of the MMC Combiner figures.

 

Just ordered Navigant and Medicus! Can’t wait to have them in hand, this really looks like it’s shaping up to be a great set.

 

And I ordered Medicus. He'll remain a one off though. I have no attachement to Defensor and already have TFC Prometheus. But I like "The Ultimate Weapon" and First Aid is the only Protectobot they cared to characterize in the show.

 

I believe somewhere in either this or the Assaultus thread that Defensor is as tall as Bruticus with the addons.

Based on the initial renders that is right. It looks like that not only does Hot Spot make up the foot but also a bit of the lower leg as well, with those little blue rectangles above Groove and Streetwise being the knees.

 

So basically with this all in one combiner Hotspot has the combined mode knee and ankle joint. Now i get it that Hotspot is the last release considering all the engineering he's got.

 

Looks like its hatted instead of hated
