You do realize that would delay the next ones, right

Had dispatch notification from KapowToys, which means Navigant has reached UK shores.

Development won’t be affected much (other than the deco team, or whatever constitutes the “team”, would be diverted for a bit).
What would be affected more is the production. There’s only so much factory time available and that time would be more suited to producing the initial set of figures first.

You can't produce Blades now because it's still under development. It's not also like that MMC has been releasing a figure every single month. An MMC person here has also said that MMC has used as many as 5 factories. You ever see them releasing 5 figures in a month?

I don't have mine so I can't even try to look yet, I'm just saying it could still be there even if no one has actually found it yet.

What was the context of the post, did they really mean 5 factories at the same time, or 5 factories they have used over the years? There is a significant difference between the two. I'd be inclined to believe the latter personally, though I have no idea. That said even if they were working with 5 factories "at once" that doesn't mean all of those factories are willing/able to give them production windows every month. The factories have their own concerns. The fact FT keeps putting things out every month is what is honestly strange for a 3P company (not that I'm complaining) considering what has been happening in China. Niche small run toy production just isn't a priority for them.

For more information see the quoted post above.
To sum it up: MMC (as far as I am aware) do not have their own factories. They “rent” factory time/space. That space is not necessarily available to MMC every month. They can only produce so many figures in a year due to such constraints.

Navigant is gooooood shit. I really adored Fraudo a lot with mmc's prior set. Pretty sure Incertus will end up my favorite of this one but man Navigant is real close too.

The leg mode is just so fuckin neat. The way it has all these little spots that perfectly align and tab and you can see exactly how the Ignis assembly will interact with the spaces available for the knee n ankle parts to mount in to fill out those areas. The little tabs you flip out to serve as what I assume is where the T bar of the knee will slot are really nice n tight.

Any tips on releasing the panels on the bottom of the legs in car mode? Mine are extremely tight and it always feels like I'm going to break something trying to un-tab them.

Sigh, should have been here today but isn't thanks to Evri aka Hermes aka a load of useless tossers. Claimed they couldn't "access" my roadside address with no fences or gates. Best is, you can't even make complaints any more it seems.

Wish stores would stop using this toss service, I'd rather deal with RM strikes than lazy lying layabouts.

Was a bit unsure out of the box - he honestly doesn’t *feel* like a £100 figure, but once I corrected the backpack and chest I started to appreciate him a lot more

What I'm holding out hope for is that Liketoys will do an upgrade kit for the MMC Protectobots like they did for the Combaticons, and that eventually they will be able to mass produce both kits like they're doing with the Jinbao Devastator kit now. That's the dream, anyway...

I like how the windshield-chest is more of a prominent characteristic on this streetwise than the xtb one (even though that's more toon accurate which is what xtb is chasing) and keeping the bot mode the same size with first aid. They're looking good together.

Can I be that guy and ask when we're getting the next figure? My Streetwise hasn't even arrived yet but I'm ready for the whole team

Go back two pages and there are pics of Blades's gray prototype. This set is looking like a "one figure a year" type of situation unfortunately.

"but look at all they money we save using them!" <- any company using hermes or whatever they call themselves now.

They very nearly lost my fans hobby energy commander the other week and then claimed 'not our problem' when I chased them about it.

Still, Streetwise arrived today and I'm honestly kinda relieved. Some of the official photos made his grey look dirty or unfinished. The colour looks much better in hand.
