I really think XTB would sell really well and show they have a good sense of humor about themselves if for their re-issue of Locke, after the originals were such a QC abomination, scrapped the "Locke" name and called it "Shitpiece."

 

As far as I know MMC only release non-windows box with comic styled art in the front.

(Also a little bit of a tangent does anyone knew who draw the box art? I would like to have them as a phone wallpaper)

Though I do wish he'd host a proper gallery somewhere like DA or Artstation or something as those art sites are much better for browsing high quality art and sites like insta and twitter tend to butcher image quality during upload.

Chogo really is a perfect fit for MMC. He captures the some of the core values designers input into their work; ie, clean, neat, sharp & beautifully simple - not that there's anything simple about his art - if that makes sense...

 

I'm loving all the new images but just curious if they've announced any release dates yet. I follow this thread and don't remember seeing any info on this but maybe I missed something. Looking forward to getting these as my Defensor, not really into the XTB version.

 

I love the detail on their Groove in alt mode. I think people.are going to be shocked when they recieve this in hand and he is the same size as MP Ratchet. Is there a kickstand?

@LazyAza , you're in the "inner circle" of the "Boss Penguin's" counsels at MMC: any chance of suggesting they do another production run for the PS-14+ Assaultus upgrade kit? Not for myself, but there seems to be a number of punters that arrived late to the MMC party and are now scrambling to get this item as they collect the Assaultus team. TFSource are the only company that list stock on hand - but at 3 times the original price its both obscene and an easy pass.

 

I've often thought that if I ever got into the 3P Transformers business that I'd give them incredibly mundane names. Like Optimus Prime would just be Dave, Megatron could be Kevin, etc.

I thought about that, but it's a bit too on the nose for me. And you'd start to run into problems when you do Ironhide and Soundwave and you're looking at Peter and Frank again.

And Starscream feels more like a Chad than a Chris.

Yeah, pretty sure what I said earlier I think was geared more towards Newage, looking back, haha. I do appreciate the ways a lot of manufacturers try to go with something that fits, and sometimes even throw in something a bit cultural in there as well (ie: Ditka, Smokey & Bandit, Thomas).

As for Dicksmash... 3P is still rather young, let's see what happens in a couple years once we have more and more names used...  

I'm already gonna be getting Locke if he is fixed to a great extent, but him being called Shitpiece would make it an instant buy.
