That firetruck looks like a truck I'd love to play with while making "we-ow, we-ow, we-ow!" sounds with a bit of "brrrmmmmm, brrrm, brrrmm" thrown in too.

i really don't like the waist, but otherwise think it looks nice. Especially the firetruck mode. Hope that we get to see it with MakeToys soon as while I have their Grapple and think he's top class I quite like the idea of Grapple and Inferno being different moulds provided they look nice together.

Somehow I still prefer MT's design.
this one has strange things going on on the back of the alt mode

They were always making hybrids of various models for the Toys so they wouldn't be sued since they weren't licensed. I get the idea he's basically a 1982 Mitsubishi Fuso FP318J but with some of the later models extra wheel set added to the back.

That front wheel arch and cab is a huge inspiration.

Wheels are fine, agree on tires.

I think this has the best face of the 3P Infernos.

It looks like he can swap faces since he's smiling in another shot.

That's what's throwing me off too. The waist looks a bit too long and disjointed in dynamic poses. Price is damn good though. Timing is impeccable as I was about to go for Hellfire.

Really need to do a side by side and see pros and cons but having Wrestle in hand I know Hellfire is solid as fuck I just dislike his clear chest.

Edit- are his waist flaps one unit like Hellfire or do they move independently? Can't really tell.

    He's killing them with kindness...

Good to know. I like my die cast so long as it's done right.

    I agree with this 100%.

A comparison is what I'm eagerly waiting to see too. The waist looks like it's fine, but in the way that it is jointed and posed and the angle we see in the photos just make it look even more odd than it really is I think. Looking at the latest photos it looks like the waist flaps might be moved because in the last shot it looks like one is slightly raised more than the other but it's hard to tell because of the sculpt.

And after all that I still have one burning question: Does the ladder rotate in alt mode? Lol. If it doesn't no big deal I guess but I already discussed this earlier in the thread. Not a deal breaker just curiousity.

Looks ok, but Hellfire is amazing and I lack the attachment to Inferno or the need for super-G1-ness.

No. The cannons are contained in the arms so you can use either arm for cannon or hand or both hands. :thumb

Me too, it gives each of them a unique presence on the shelf (and allows us to enjoy two different figures!).
Another cool feature :)  MT's has to detach the cannon for transformation (which is a teeny bit annoying if you like to keep a cannon-arm on the character permanently as I do).

Looks awesome! I haven't bought a transformer in months and this Firetruck is about to get my money. And most likely Ocular Max too.

    MMC Rocks!

I was really impressed with Printformers simple mod on Hellfire which pretty much sold me on it so I knocked up a comparison of his pic with this one:

Obviously I have no idea of the size discrepancy between the two but it's crazy how different they are proportionately. If only a fourth party would do a cartoon head for the MT figure.....

I'm leaning towards MT but the MMC one is growing on me. I don't know what to do! I guess having Grapple as the stocky one with Inferno the more lean would work.

Mmc Infetno shoulder articulation is better. MMC First addition Ocular Max is nearly doubled in value. Mmc rocks, big time.

I wouldn't even consider the MT, proportionately as you say he looks bad. Looks like a turtle peeking out a shell and the head... And not seen an mp ironhide next to MT before but thry probably don't scale well. It's between this one and the keith. This one with the alternate head is pretty wow.
