I agree this guy really is just shy of perfection. If anyone's interested I took some time to make a couple quick modifications that improved my enjoyment considerably.
    PXL_20201228_220759841.jpg

Firstly I took a piece of packing tape and painted one side of it with neon pop nail polish to put on the inside of the mask once it dried so the eyes stand out

    PXL_20201228_220637003.jpg
I added the same color to the inside of his Canon barrels to bring those to life

Then I drilled a very small pilot hole through the cannon holder then a slightly larger hole and did that two more times until I had a hole that was the perfect size to plug the fusion cannon into so that either he can have an IDW accurate staggered Cannon design or I can have it staggered the other way which immensely helps his arm articulation

    PXL_20201228_220711351.jpg
Lastly I cut the handle off of another figures weapon to create a 5 mm plug to put into where his cannon plugs into an ALT mode. This stops it at the perfect depth so that there is unimpeded 360° turret rotation

Also with a bit more digging, I found these:

I remember a while ago there was something through the now-defunct MMC Hub site (though I'm still waiting to be accepted in the FB group :D  ) about an upgrade wishlist or something. @LazyAza or @daimchoc Do you folks have any info on that?

Dug out Carnifex for the first time in a loooooong time. Still amazing. I also found some FT Quietus weapons I had from quite a while ago (no clue how/why, never had the actual figure lol) and I LOVE the purple gun. I always hated the stock blaster, this one is much better for my taste. Doesn't fit perfectly, but doesn't take much extra effort.

    Nice work.

Any chance you took note of the drill bit sizes you used? Not trying to go looking for metric bits if I have an old standard one in the toolbox lol

I used gundam marker on a small piece of aluminum foil. It looks great.

Ah, that shapeways adapter is what I was remembering. Has anyone here bought that? Seems like it’d work well enough if the black filament is used. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too fragile or brittle

I’d like to know that info too

I used a piece of red ribbon to illuminate Tarn’s eyes. It was ever so slightly harder to put the mask back on due to the sliver of added thickness, but it still clips on just fine. And the end result is wonderful, I think :D  Although it only reaches full effect if you have external light shining on it

I didn't end up measuring it but what I did do was get my bits out and take the end of the drill bits that aren't the business end and see which one fit snugly into the existing port on the back. I'm pretty sure it was around 5 mm. Then what I did making sure I was drilling incredibly straight into the plastic using a very thin bit then a slightly larger one and did it a few more times so that there's no risk of cracking or nasty looking plastic.

Double checked that the cannons would fit snugly and then using a hobby knife I trimmed a tiny bit around the hole so that it was more of a concave Port that the pegs would fit into nicely and using some fine sandpaper also sanded and polished around it so that it looks real pretty

I had to widen a 5mm hole on my kid's Hasbro Grapple (the feet holes are undersized per a caliper) and I successfully used a 3/16 bit and peg is still snug.

I'd like to see MMC tackle the Monsterbots after the Scavengers. Fanshobby is way too big...titans return are too small and shouldn't be headmasters. I bet MMC could make a great run of them.

you can also get a drill press for under $100 on Amazon if you’re really worried about having a steady hand. I found a good one for my dremel a few years ago.

How stable are the canons in the new holes? That plastic seems sort of thin.

Heres what the painted foil looks like:

Extremely stable. Plastic is actually really good and doesn't stress easily at all 16092646473807929682662623112332.jpg

Dude. That was a fun little mod. Worked my way up to 3/16 bit and it's a perfect, snug fit. Thanks for the idea.

I noticed that my reissue version of Kultur has these slots on the arms that don’t seem to be on previous runs. Is this a running change or is it mistransformed somehow? I can’t go back and look bc I already left my house, but I’m curious if anyone else has them or can explain the difference

If you rotate the arms at the bicep though, how would you get the black pieces on the forearms to sit on the outside? I don’t remember those being able to move. I just wanna make sure mine isn’t misassembled. Not that I could do anything about it, since I can’t go home for the near future

My reissue has them too. It's not mistransformation since the bottom side has the peg that goes in the hip.

My original Kultur does not have them, but his mold-mate, Thunderclash, does have them (mine is an original as well). My guess is they just updated the part after Kultur was released and re-used the new version for the reissue.
