I bought Roller for a friend as part of a multi-part deal and I didn't give him much thought, but I saw one cheap at TFCon and now I'm regretting not snapping it up.

I still can't get over just how GOOD the Exitus head sculpt is.

 

Ultimately "reformatted" is just the name they slapped on basically all their products until they started making masterpiece-adjacent figures.

Infinite-Finity or whatever is basically the same type of figures.

If they think a non-masterpiece/non-legends type of figure will sell they'll go ahead and make it.

The neat-&-tidy-nerd-brains reeeeeally need to stop getting so hung up on arbitrary names and numbering. But maybe I'm a weirdo for not caring about a product being called "Reformatted Number Sixty-Who-Actually-Cares".

 

Almost the last of my MMC Portraits that I've edited, the Combaticons...that's all my MMC figures sans Felisaber and Hexatron, who are hanging out in my closet, and the three G2 Combaticons I have plus Medicus all of whom I need to take a portrait of.

 

I wasn’t really impressed with Stray Re-edited (although I did also get Ater Beta later, which I do really like), but holy hell Batman! This is absolutely amazing! When I put that cape on the robot, I was transported to a new level of awesome which I did not expect, lol.

Kinda glad I missed out on the black one, and I obviously don’t have it to compare.. but the blue one looks really nice and I would imagine the black would be kind of boring, but thats just me. Highly recommended.

Pretty pleased with mmc's 2022 roster.

One fixed Eris head, three more completed Protectobots and three more auto tapes and 2023 will be a nice follow up. Though I do have my fingers crossed for some particular other new molds hopefully making 23 also.

 

Seeing there is so much praise about D-Zef, I bought his C version! Hopefully will arrive soon.
Alongside their new Optus Prominion deco, I think MMC shapes up to be my favourite  
I do wish they did a Victory Saber to pair up with D-Zef, since I don;t have the Haslab one  

Also, anyone have their old Kultur? How is he? I do want to get a Tarn one day.

As 2022 winds down, I find that MMC's bots made the biggest impression on me this year. I just recently got into the 3P scene (which started off rocky with Fansproject's Cubrar and his floppy waist), but the best bang for the buck for me is MMC's outstanding molds. Optus Prominon (Severed Geist ver.), Medicus, and Navigant are so beautifully scuplted, nicely painted, excellently articulated, and of such quality that it really turned me off to a lot of other 3P brands.

I'm really looking forward to getting an IDW version of D-Zef, the stormbreaker Optus Prominon, and finishing up the Maximus combiner team this year (hopefully). I can't wait to see what else they have in store.

 

I would like to complete my MMC reformatted collection (not including repaints) and I need R07, R08, R09, R10, R11. Prefer complete with box.

MMC was wise to create a numbering system for their products. Just like Studio Series, people can not tolerate having a missing number so they get figures that they may otherwise have little interest in.

MMC D-Zef with TFCon Toronto Breast Animals

So now that I have the R42C D-Zef I can finally make use of the TFCon Toronto 2022 exclusive set the way it was intended so that being the case and seeing how it’s Christmas Eve some people may be prepping their turkeys. Having said that get ready for Space Chicken as he is what’s for dinner one day this week lol.

The Google translation is far from clear, but it seems PSX is saying that the MMC factory is and will be short-staffed through CNY/Spring Festival. Service requests will be slow, and there will be no releases until after CNY, starting with the third run of G1 Fraudo and Impetus. (I'm guessing in late February or March). I wouldn't be surprised if MMC kinda punts on exclusives for March TFCon. (Even though a Medicus repaint as Tote is right there.)

Projecting forward for 2023, I assume MMC's going to try to get Pitch and Motif, Proditor Nimbus, and Eris:Armadon out by around the end of Q2 (June/July). Along with the 3 other Assaultus re-releases.

Which hopefully means room for a couple new things throughout the year, probably more towards the end? Such as Forte, IF Stray, and a Maximus Pro bot or two.

On the Toy Notch side of the house, they're slated to release Artimis, Athenia, and Vulkan, as well as an Apollo re-release. I'm guessing that means no Tankhead this year, but hopefully it'll be something to look forward to for 2024. No idea if Toy Notch and MMC use the same factory, but either way, it's gonna be a pretty busy 2023 for them, especially if Covid continues to be a factor.
