I will add my voice to those who like me didn't get this for the longest time and only recently got him.

Although I do read the comics (and like them), Tarn didn't really connect. However, in general I lke (love) the MMC reformatted line. Recently I got him (plus alpha Beta). As pointed out, he's got a simple transformation, but it's highly functional and fun to do again and again. He poses great and looks the same. Even standing ramrod straight does he look good, but making him stand ramrod straight is a chore: he's just too much fun to pose and you can't help but put him impressive and agressive poses.

I like the mould that much that I now want one of the remoulds, but likewise not caring about the characters as much (and all the back kibble they have), makes that again a tough choice.

(I considered getting the Iron Factory upcoming Legends version, but this just works better for me.)

A very solid figure. He's a hair bigger than your average older Voyagers (think Springer or roadbuster), and beefy as well. The only down side I can think of is that he has no wheels, so no rolling. But don't let that tiny detail stop you. I know almost nothing about who he is in the comics, so in my head cannon, he represents The Fallen.

If you just started reading the comics and you're digging the DJD, absolutely worth it. Buy the whole team.

It's a beautiful figure with a shockingly simple transformation. If that doesn't make the price seem like too much, then go for it.

    Absolutely.
I bought that figure just because I thought it looked boss. Then I read the MTMTE comics and yeah, he's a neat character, but I'm into this for cool toys. And Kultur is one coolass toy.

I didn't read the comic and bought it because people says it's a great figure... after I have it, kind of disappointed, because the transformation is so simple and I don't really know this Tarn anyway.

Got mine in the mail today and its fantastic! Theres a chip on his chest though...

I emailed toydojo and they said MMC will send me a replacement part but its attached via a metal pin?? I was told they will give me the easiest replaceable to adress the issue?

Its a solid buy if your Tarn must transform. I stipulate because that Flame Toys official is in a different stratosphere. Kultur is my current representation, however.

I think a big part of it comes down to---are you a Decepticon fan? He's the most Decepticon-y Decepticon of all. He has their insignia, for his face... (well, ok, it's a mask---but it'd be even cooler if he'd actually replaced his face with it)

Never read the comics, great figure. Very simple transformation, but incredibly satisfying. I have Tarn, AM and TFCon Thunder Prominion. Love it!
