I know Kultur is the reason I bought mine. The DJD were always on my "maybe eventually" list but never a priority, but Kultur jumped Anarchus and Cynicus to the top of my list.

Cynicus is still sitting in my stack, but Anarchus arrived yesterday. He's... OK. Like Kultur, he's an excellent likeness for his comic book inspiration, but he doesn't feel as sturdy and a limited waist swivel and lack of proper thigh swivels hurts him more than Kultur's cannons and shoulders, plus he holds his gun kind of poorly.

I think he would be vastly improved with a Pet figure...

Kultur is partially the reason I picked up Anarchus a few weeks ago, but another reason was because I've decided to focus mainly on 3rd party figures and figured he would be a good addition on my shelf since he's so unique.

    Pic deleted :p

Oh! I tried this too, I didn't see any harm in this.

It shows something about 'play' which is something we do with our Transformers to make them seem much more than meets the eye, and look, there's an energon Twizzler because the robots need to eat too!

... until I scrolled further down and then.... OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!!!!!

Aza says it's on the table...
I quit HasTak to focus on 3P long enough so that I could have got Cynicus and Anarchus in their first runs. My priority was combiners, though, followed by "core" characters from the cartoon. Until Kultur, the DJD just didn't make that cut.

Geez I hope not. I want fun transformations... I honestly hope stuff ends up being more like cross-dimension. They don't have fiddly transformations (though they take a few times to get the hang of), and they look just as spectacular as Kultur with even more articulation. Case in point, Jaunty Strutting Mode: upload_2017-2-3_15-23-35.png

Like I keep saying, LOVE MMC, and their last figures have been beautiful, but too simple.

I watched a lot of musicals and transformers cartoons as a child. Surprising how that dovetails.

Yeah sadly Kultur isn't trying out for the role of The Artful Dodger so he won't be in any Broadway/West End poses. Plus he's not really a fan of musical theater in general.

Well yeah like they've been on the table ever since MMC started making these guys. Once Helex and Tes were confirmed that was it as far as I thought, Nickel and pet may as well have been confirmed along with them lol.

Simple transformations have never been a minus point for me. When things are over-engineered, execution becomes more difficult and things wont stay together as well as you hoped. Not to mention it become more.. fragile. Generally speaking. If its simple and it works well enough, i am happy with it.:D
In other news, chinese new year will most likely delay the shipping even further. Heres hoping for the best!

Mine arrived without warning as well, and I am very satisfied with it.

    The pros:
    Accuracy to the character
    Stability
    Simplicity without sacrificing being interesting
    Presence!

    The cons:
I'm not super fond of MMC's extra-hard plastic, but it is sturdy
A few small replacement parts would make it stellar

This guy is the Glock of Transformers - a superbly simple design that hits all the right notes, and will be perfection in hand once you replace a few accessory bits.
