Deaths Head and Cyclonus both have big horns so I would assume that if it were at one point intended to be the former their is still enough room for a Clyclonus shaped head to fit and yeah obviously he'd need at least that modification to work as him.

Pretty sure the red thing behind his head is the cockpit screen and the "cape" hanging behind his legs is the front of the jet mode with his head gun mounted between the two front prongs. He also seems to have the ability to slot/tab his sword on his back so that's nice.

Wonder what figure/figures the factory had the colors set for before doing this test shot. They're so distracting it's hard to tell what the figure looks like.

 

Tiny hand syndrome strikes again. I tend to like MMC's proportions (excessive detailing is a whole other issue) except when it comes to dainty little hands on what are meant to be hulking/intimidating looking bots.

 

Test shot color like that are often mixed so that each metal mold gets injected with a different color. So all the red parts are from one mold, etc.

 

Agreed. Tiny hands are the only thing I don't like about MMC designs.

The proto has an IDWish Lockdown jaw, but IIRC Cassy's original idea was a certain Marvel character with the initials DH.

 

Are Alpha (Wing), Beta (Drift) and this all the same mold?

 

I really want to see this guy's alt mode. I guess it's some type of flying vehicle because of the wings on his legs and no signs of large tire kibble, but those could also be on his back...

MMC is going to make me poor(er).  

 

Jaegertron already showed up in MMC's comics as a character. So nope.

 

I hope the alt mode is a wheeled vehicle.
