I finally really played around with this guy after messing with Carnifex and Maketoys Swerve and Gears and I enjoyed it. I had to mess with the tabs a bit in alt mode to keep it together, but got it to stay put even with my almost three year old playing with him a bit. The right shoulder was a little loose with the peg and will probably get looser later. Oh well. Hopefully, everyone else enjoys theirs even with some minor issues. Still better quality than a lot of official stuff.

I got mine out of the box last week and it broke first transformation. The wings that tab in - the bracket attaching them to the main body sheared off with no pressure applied! I wasn't even transforming that part at the time!

I've been transforming robots for 32 years and never broken one before. Genuinely shocked and disappointed as I really like the figures aesthetics. I've contacted my supplier and they've said about getting hold of the supplier for a new part but I just don't think it will work. Hoping they can replace it for me. I'm on my phone but will try and upload images.

Is Jaegertron supposed to have ratcheted hips? I opened up the area and noticed the ratchets, but no notched plastic piece on the other side.

Try asking MMC or order through BBTS if you're in the states - they'll take care of you quickly.

Hmmm, maybe more cost-cutting going on there? As in, re-using ratcheted parts from another figure, or not including a complimentary piece in Jaeger's crotch cover?

Maybe I have bad luck on mines, but is anybody else's weapons very loose in his hands (other than the swords)? Hate these type of hands on MMC's figures.

Well something for those detents to click against would be required and I don't see how such a part would have been able to fit inside with the space available.

So maybe he was going to have ratchets and its a left over design thing from that being scrapped? shame because some nice clicky forward back would have been very welcome. Wonder if he originally had a like bigger butt piece or something so a ratchet clicker part could be there and it was indeed cost cut out of the design. Very weird.

Yeah, those hip pieces are likely reused from another mold which had a pelvis section that contained the appropriate ratcheting bits. MMC does like to repurpose stuff.

I added some epoxy putty to the fists so that he can wield the long black guns and it looks rad, plus he is gun ready now without requiring the cargo hauling section.

    Shut your shudder, Maz! LoL

Gotta say - if you could actually get his arms to go straight out, he'd be amazing. But that shoulder limitation is really bugging me for some reason. Kinda crazy at this point that a figure retailing for $100+ can't lift his arms to shoulder height.

But good god is he wicked

This is the fembots all over again with tabbing and alignement issues on a less nervewrecking but still mildly irritating level
Apart from that however this guy is lots of fun with a lot of playvalue for the price.

I have had some interesting experiences with this so far. First time I transformed Jaeger to jet mode it tabbed perfectly, second time it was more akin to the frustration I had with Anubis and I wondered if I imagined the whole thing. This most recent time I took much longer to transform him. Aligned everything slowly and painstakingly, even went forward three steps,m back 2 steps just to check and realign (thighs being straight is a tricky one) and I made sure both elbow joints were definitely at 90 degrees before tabbing the forearm to the shoulder. On this occasion I got excellent tabbing throughout on Jaeger, with just a small gap where the feet should sit flush on the main jet body. I'm happy with it, but then I adored the Fembot mould.
