I probably would have preferred the bulk of the legs to be red, but that's a petty personal gripe on my part.

Lovely! Having pored over the prototype pics for so long, this almost looks a bit weird. I'll get used to it, though!

 

Pretty sure it's the same orange as on Talon, but the lack of almost any black makes it look much more yellow. I think it could use some more black on the arms, and more red in the legs as suggested. I think also a contrasting color like black for the helmet part of the head would really make more of the figure stand out. Just my two cents.

 

That looks amazing actually. I'm going through that eternal debate with myself on what to do; preorder these figures as soon as they become available, or wait until we see the final "predaking" figure and order accordingly.

 

I really wanted to wait til I at least had talon in hand, but I always fear I will miss out on a figure that's why I never wait I always preorder. In my opinion though talons color looks a little better

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm all in for Feral Rex, but for some reason the Bovis color reveal reminded me of this.

 

Agreed, his helmet gets a bit lost in the sea of red from his Beast Mode head, as does his visor. Swapping the helmet to dark grey or black would neatly solve the issue.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought 'Happy Meal' when I saw his colors. Hopefully, they are more muted in hand or have a different finish to reduce this perception in person.

I still REALLY like what I see, though, and am pleased I got him on Early Bird. ^_^

That looks.....Amazing. I was digging Bovis in the grey but the colored version is just ... wow.

 

Show's over folks, nothing to see here. MMC Feral Rex is the clear winner. I would hate to be UT right now (althougth I think that was already established) but now I think it is safe to say that no matter what version of Predaking TFC is working on, that will lose hard too.

Two silver linings.

1. To those buying Feral Rex, this beast is going to sky rocket in price, especially if you by e/b prices.

2. If you are actually interested in the other two Predakings, wait, those will be forced into discount/clearance.

Yes its a bit early to say anything. It seems likr a small pattern. The reveal of talon and it was like mmc read about complaints and then they fixed some things. Now an early reveal of bovis makres me wonder if mmc is looking for everyones opinion on this. Maybe this won't be the final colors?

 

I really don't think its poor UT either. I'm sure they didn't come out wth their version trying to out do the competition. I think they just ant to do their rendition of a great figure. Just like tfc will do their version, or at least that's what they say.

 

Wow!! Bot mode in particular is looking damn handsome. Alt mode is obviously the bees knees also, but dahyum..... dat bot mode.

 

i hope headstrongs eye visor is red chrome...kinda looks like it in the pic......hope it stays..
