I know this isn't the Striker Manus thread but since he was brought up, I do NOT get the overflowing love for that figure at all. I think he's a good figure at a great price and his robot mode is pretty awesome when it comes to articulation and unique styling, but his transformation and alt mode are really subpar. He reminds me of an updated classics Prime (who I also think is highly overrated) that isn't updated enough to modern standards.

He's definitely a great figure but the way people set him up as some marvel of achievement is ridiculous. Anyway sorry to go off topic.

Is there a way to mod his feet to swap the heel with the tip of the foot?

Yea..It may be a minor nitpick, but I'm trying to think of any excuse to not get this.

I wasn't that keen on dicamus when preview pics of him were shown last year, but the moment i saw that review from peugh of dicamus together with spartan, gen. Springer and topspin....Ugh.

Who am I kidding, I'll be getting dicamus now. Would be nice if the heel and toes can be swapped, but I'm not sure if that would affect the transformation.

Not unless you want Dicamus to be able to go back to alt mode.

Hmm actually both foot parts appear to be on their own swivel points as separate parts rotating inside the central foot assembly piece. If those two rotating sections are the same size you may indeed be able to disassemble the leg and swap them around.

But someone would have to verify the possibility. If anyone does do make sure to use the proper kind of screwdriver so you don't strip the screws of course. :lol  Not gonna do it myself. Since the heels are smaller they shouldn't have any clearance issue if they sit underneath the alt, but you will end up with the large foot parts hanging outside of the alt mode instead even if it works.

The odd thing about the few images/reviews that show two guns is that they are two different guns. It's not like he was posed with an extra gun from another Dicamus by accident. The second gun is a green version of Strika's rectangular barreled gun, whereas Dicamus has a round barrel. A second gun was molded in green plastic and painted. Multiple copies of it were produced. It's in several photos from mutiple people and in the first review posted a few pages back. Perhaps early convention photos did give Dicamus an extra/spare gun from another figure but the newer photos do show a new, green, Strika style gun. At least, that's what I see...could be wrong.

That's a great comparison pic, do the weapon pieces from that Revolver Core figure and the add on peg into Dicamus's ports? If so I'll be snagging a set to arm him up.

Good and solid picture. I think -the idw style notwithstanding- the upgraded Revolver still looks better.

What I really don't understand is the alt mode of this guy. It's just so...plain? Actually I find the alt modes of a lot of MMC's current and upcoming IDW figures (Tarn, Cyclonus, Whirl and Megatron) to be somewhat bland and uninspired. Are they just being comic accurate (I don't remember from reading)?

OK, My delema...I have this guy in my stack at TFSource but there is nothing else I think that I need yet. I just got my Mastermine collections Tarn and he is awesome as well at MP-36 Magatron. NOW, I could wait until FT Phoenix, but I would like to ship this guy and hit the 150 mark for free shipping. Any suggestions? I was thing Cosmos or Perhaps WIndcharger, but worried that the Windcharger & Tailgait look a bit wonky.

None of those figures have alt modes accurate to the comic aside from maybe Kulturs to some extent so no it's purely cassy to blame for some of them being a bit bland. Although Boreas' is going to be improved a bit thanks to my paint scheme that aims to make him look more like the Fall of Cybertron design and Calidus is wonderfully slavish to the comic alt and looks very dynamic thank goodness.

Ironically the most bad ass looking alt mode Cassy has ever designed; Jaegertrons was of course the one figure saddled with a disappointing first run quality wise. sigh

Finally went ahead and ordered him. Was still deciding between Titanika and Dicamus. Love the pruple red with gold on Titanika, but Roadbuster is Roadbuster.

Makes me regret buying the Fansproject version even more. Something that I should've known from the start, because I regret almost every FP figure I've ever bought. We just don't get along, Fansproject and I :)

    And the upcoming Boreas?

I'm normally not really interested in weapons pack, but in this case I am.

Based on the G1 toy he would need:
    - a rack of projectiles for one leg and a sawed of shotgun for the other,
    - something to clip over his arms in altmode and his backpack in robotmode that holds a shoulder mounted missile launcher.

Antyhing beyond, would be icing on the cake.

A question for who has both Dicamus and the Thrilling 30 Roadbuster: does Dicamus' brown head fit on the Hasbro figure's ball joint? I know it would probably be a tad too big, but it would be nice to have both a Guidi's and a more G1 version.
