Has anyone ever had a problem with getting their figures from PSX? Right now my tracking number does not work. This is my first time ordering from these guys. It has been 43 days since placing my order and I was thinking about opening a dispute with PayPal just in case.

 

I completely missed out on this, I had no idea it would be a PSX exclusive?

 

It's not, they're making another batch for other retailers.

 

I don't think anyone's ever had any problems with them. They're MMC's official-unofficial distributor as well ... They would never recommend them, or let them have a timed exclusive, if they were shady.

Also, the figure just started shipping. It was available for pre-order back when you (pre-)ordered it ... So of course it has taken awhile to release, as it wasn't available before. They also had some kind of issue right before they initial release date, which pushed the figure back an additional week and a half or so.

If the China Post isn't working for your tracking number, try using it on USPS.com. I used EMS shipping myself, and my number is working. Just not moving too quickly (but I blame China for that, not EMS in itself. My EMS orders from Japan arrive like the quickness)

 

OK good! I did some more reading and apparently PSX should have a restock at 59.99 and then after that I guess other retailers but at a higher price?

Oddly enough, I pre-ordered the Fembots Eupatorium and Salvia Prominon at the same time as Cynicus...and PSX listed them all shipped at the same time. I am wondering if it was a mistake, but I haven't been able to find anyone else that ordered all three on the same order to see if it happened for them too.

Yes, but it took a couple of trys. The first time I put in my tracking number on the HK Post Office site, it said that there was no information. Then I tried the TRACK ANOTHER PACKAGE option, put in my tracking number, the site seem to do nothing for a good 10-15 seconds, then it finally started moving & spit out a result a few seconds later.

"The item (xxxxxxxxxxxxx) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 11-Apr-2015."

Also just FYI, for those that are not familiar with the HK Post Office shipping process and living in the US...once the item hits the US you can use your tracking number on the USPS.com website to continue tracking the item. It will NOT show up until its processed into the US though.

Cynicus available for preorder again at PSX.
Release date now April 30th.
Price is now $65.

Sure wish I knew if that was going to be the price at other retailers or if they're going to make the $85 price point the norm so that this price + shipping is going to be the cheaper option or what.

 

Same....but I went ahead and submitted an order anyways. Hopefully when the next DJD member goes up, MMC is clearer as to what the hell will happen, pricewise, for PSX vs other retailers.

I live in New Zealand so can't get free shipping from any stores anyway.
Used Planetsteel express to order all my MMC Feralcons 1 by 1 as they were released and had zero issues.
