    Since he was speaking in that scene, his mouthplate was drawn on a separate cel from the rest of his head, but when his head itself moved, the animators forgot to move the cel with the mothplate accordingly.

    Far from the worst I've seen, but.... this frame sure makes G1 Cliffjumper looks kinda dumpy.

    When was G1 Cliffjumper killed? It’s happened twice that I’m aware of to the Aligned and Beeverse Cliffjumpers. Hell, he was one of the few 1984 guys to survive TFTM, even.

    I wish people would stop acting like Cliffjumper dying is some kind of multiversal constant for TFs.

    He died in the movie. The fact that he looked like Windcharger was an animation error. and the fact that there was a bot on the moonbase with Jazz that looked and sounded like him was also an animation error. That was actually supposed to be Huffer.

    He was also devoured by Unicron in IDW 1, and accidentally killed by assassins Optimus Prime sent after Sideswipe in the original Shattered Glass continuity. That brings the total to four, though that still isn't enough to justify giving him the title of "the Kenny McCormick of Transformers." There are plenty of characters who've died more than that. Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream have died well over a dozen times each. They also have a tendency to come back, while Cliff usually stays dead, which makes comparing him to Kenny even less fitting.
