Talked to someone at Brentwood Target who said they were getting Rodimus in on the 20th. Saves some people trips, as I don't think any area store has him yet.
Walmart Jefferson City has a rhinox and the little green core dino. No Soundwaves. I took home a Rhinox and Ultra Magnus. Target had 2x soundwave and a BW Megatron, I took one of the soundwaves.
I had pre-ordered the pit of judgement in December and just got it Monday. I was originally supposed to get it in March.
Best Buy shows that you can order Tracks and Scorponok and pick them up at the local store on Thursday next week (7/8). I was about to make a point that it lines up with what Gamestop shows for my delayed Tracks and Scorponok preorders, but when I checked my order status, lo and behold...
Well, it's listed separately but I don't know if they're receiving normal cases or character specific cases like with Wingfinger hitting some Walmarts. Nothing makes sense anymore.

I went to Campbell Walmart to get some groceries and (like always) checked out the Transformers section of the toy aisle. I nearly fainted as they had GALVATRON!!!! He came home with me, but there were also 4 Rhinox's, a few Cyclonus's, Optimus Primals, Ultra Magni, several core class (no Soundwaves) and a lot of Netflix figures as well. My Galvatron has the misassembled shoulders, but the "rotate and twist" method looks just fine. I don't mind the pin showing in the front. I may try the disassemble fix later if I get brave. He's great. Very solid. Tight joints, perfect scale, and easily (IMHO) the best looking Galvatron yet. Highly recommended.
Alright boys and girls, sounds like Slug and Grindor are hitting now so it's time to put on your boots and your hat and start hunting! Kirkwood, Brentwood and South County showed more than one on hand, but I already called Kirkwood (only 1 on hand so probably not a new case) and Brentwood (says they have 2 on hand, but can't find them anywhere, meaning they're probably on a cart somewhere in the store waiting to go out).
And *that’s* how they get you. In all seriousness though, there aren’t any pics yet so it could be fake. But two different users reported secondhand that these have been spotted.
LOL -- brutal. I've only got a handful that I'll be on the lookout for from here on out but I'll keep an eye open for you guys anyway. Just one, though. The left one. The right one is a bit out of focus and rather lazy.
