Well it's good news for Paramount that one of their big films opened big. I was reading an article that word of mouth should help the movie put up some good numbers in the following weeks.

It's next weekend before I can watch it because I adopted a cat and needed to be home to make sure he wouldn't fight with my other cat.

Saw this today and was not impressed. Another one of those if you've seen the trailer then you've seen the whole movie kind of movie.

That's witty. Maybe if the summer movies didn't suck so much I'd actually like one.

Good thing I didn’t really pay attention to the trailer. I enjoyed the movie.

I've just been enjoying how almost absurdly low he's been rating EVERY movie - one after another, most lauded as being fairly good to great - yet the last one HE praised was Solo. Solo!

Everyone's entitled to their opinions and all that, but sheesh, if SOLO is the quality measuring stick for this guy, I can't take any reviews or rating he gives seriously.

Saw mission impossible fallout today in Imax, the movie is amazing.
The action is better then the last one, also has great music an the soundtrack sounded similar to the Dark Knight in some parts of the movie during the helicopter action sequences :p

We went to it this afternoon. Yeah, it's really good, but I think people need to hit the breaks on calling it the best action movie EVER. I don't really count the first three M:I's because they're such campy embarrassments, but compared to the GOOD ones, I'd say this is definitely better than Rogue Nation (which I found pretty slow) but just as good as Ghost Protocol... the one M:I where I feel like the action (and just "wow" scenes) truly did start from the finish and not stop right til the end. What I did really like, though, was how this was the first M:I that carried over its best villain to another sequel.

    Well i finally saw it.
    It's better than the last.
Almost 3 hours and never there was a dull moment.

Yup there are loose ends in this film prompting for another Sequel.
I hope McQuarrie is still the director. If the next film will make a full circle back at the 1st film, let it be Tom Cruise' final MI film.

In the film, White Widow is the daughter of Max. The main villain in the first film. I hope in the next film, if ever it'll be the last.. They should do some "Spectre" treatment to The Apostles as the global terrorist network that handles IMF's former adversaries of terrorist cells in previous films. White Window as the right hand and the main baddie will be Jim Phelps (Jon Voight), I don't know how will they make a story of his survival though

And if ever, Hunts team needs a bigger roster of IMF agents from previous films.
    - Billy Baird (from the 2nd film)
    - Zhen Lei (from the 3rd film, Maggie Q)
    - Declan Gormley (from the 3rd film)
    - Jane Carter (4th film)
    - William Brandt (4th and 5th film, Jeremy Renner)
    - Brussels (3rd film, Lawrence Fishburne)
    - Swanbeck (2nd film, Anthony Hopkins)
