Fallout? So this one will be set in the far future after the atomic wars reduced the planet to a nuclear wasteland? Isn't that basically Mad Max? (Just kiddin ;)  )

I wonder if Tom Cruise is still a big box office draw after The Mummy. It's cool how much stunt work he can still do but rather generic action movie staring Tom Cruise is starting to feel a bit been there done that sort of material.

Haha, STILL? Outside of a couple moderate successes (at best) - Edge of Tomorrow and the new MI's - Cruise hasn't been a box office draw in well over a decade... ever since he started jumping on Oprah couches, spewing nonsense about the evils of medicine and whatever else according to his ridiculously bullshit sci-fi "religion", and basically being outed as a raving lunatic. It's actually shocking that the guy still gets gigs at all, let alone with his name still always being bigger than the movie titles.

Tom Cruise would actually sell the hell out of that movie. But, then again, it'd just be Oblivion all over again.

I loved this trailer. It’s everything I wanted it to be. It’s sleek, it’s stylish, and it’s packed to the brim with epic practical stunts. The most intriguing aspect of the trailer to me is that this looks like the first direct sequel in the franchise. They’re all connected, but plot elements and side characters rarely transcend these films in major ways. I thought Rogue Nation was the best one yet, and this one looks like a good continuation of that. It looks a little darker than that one in tone, but it still looks very fun.

Looks great. I’m hoping Cavill and his mustache kicks a lot of ass in this movie.

He certainly looks like he’s kicking Cruise’s ass... well, that’s why he’s Superman.

That mustache certainly kicked the Justice League’s ass already.

Gotta love it when a film goes for practical stunts. What is with Cavill punching the air twice though? Is he flexing his arms so hard his cufflinks pop?

Also, holy shit they really did use that shot of Tom breaking his ankle.

I always thought the Mission Impossible movies should have been about, well, crazy stunts and heists, breaking into places, etc. Not gunfights and car chases and such... because that's Bond territory, and Ethan is now basically James Bond. Wasn't he originally an unaffiliated freelancer who did odd jobs for any government who paid him? Now he is full on CIA or whatnot?
Oh, he is still into Scientology? I haven't seen him speak about it as much as he used to.

It's more of us seeing him do less Scientology because we're not seeing him talk about Xenu much online than him somehow leaving Scientology altogether.

But that's an entire jar of pickles we shouldn't get into.

Definitely interested in seeing this. Didn't care a ton for the last one but still found it entertaining.

Nice to see Cruise isn't the only one in the film pulling off impossible stunts.
