Has anyone else noticed that there is an extra line on the grill that is asymmetrical and not found on the vintage toy? It is not an issue at all, but just a weird thing I noticed!

    It can either be:

    1. From the original Diaclone mold (yup, the previous 84 G1 Convoy/Optimus underwent many changes all the way to the trailer and the ion blaster to the effect that aside from nuking the spring launcher into a mobile artillery piece, the trailer IS very much like the 83/84 Diaclone Battle Convoy)
    2. A new mold.

Grimlock would be a slam dunk. His engineering already has places for elbows, a waist and more. The original toy had lateral hip movement and knees thanks to the transformation scheme. Also elbows but those were covered in robot mode when you slid up the forearms to reveal the fists. I'm sure a fair few kids left the forearms down to go into slash mode to retain the elbows.

Yeah, all you need to do is have the fists slide in to the forearms/lower legs instead of having the entire assembly slide down over the fists.

Just noticed something the detail on forearms and knees are little panels that are in
( no mold line going through)
you can see it's a little piece on the the knees

...You know The original Magnus cab forearm and knees were a little different
    Here's hoping

Never imagined we'd ever see the day when OG Prime could do that pelvic thrust

I'm still amazed they are doing stuff like this. I honestly would have expected a 3P/KO company to do it first.

Decided to pick up C-01 during the sale, though I’m currently awaiting shipment. Super stoked for it!

I’m also stoked for the Legacy United Optimus Prime though, as I don’t think it’ll be a cheaper take on this concept so much as it’ll just be a new Optimus Prime that takes cues from the original toy. I expect wholly new proportions, engineering, and for only specific key details to line up perfectly. I think these will prove to be two very different toys!

Has anyone fully translated the leaflet/catalogue that comes with these two into English?

Argh, now I can't unsee this! :D  That's really weird - and even stranger is the fact that this extra line doesn't seem to be present in any of the stock photography for the figure. Surely it can't be a mistake or moulding error?
