I've got my Prime, but I just wanted to say that's mighty cool of you to think of us and pick up extras. Hopefully you can be repaid in kind sometime.
If anyone has an extra Camshaft or stumbles upon one, please snatch him for me. I just went to the two Targets, the Walmart, and TRU by me and nothing but the same Skids and Tracks we've had for months. And I know they've gotten new toys because I've seen Titanium Prime and Megs are three out of the four places. Grr. This is why they only other figure I have bought as an Alt. is Decepticharge, and I just stumbled upon him when I wasn't looking for him. That's how it works for me, if I'm looking for something for someone else or not looking, I have the greatest luck. If I purposely go out looking for myself, nothing. Everything else has been BT and and hassle free.
Wee! Bloomington Walmart has one each Mirage and OP as of this afternoon. They're apparently re-aligning their shelves, cuz their TF are in two different areas. They also have a TON of Alts, period (mostly Meisters), so if you dig, you'll find what you're looking for. Also, they have the Marvel Legends Icons figures, the Masterworks FF set, and the Arch-Enemies two-packs with Cap/Red Skull, Daredevil/Kingpin, & Hulk/Leader...
I was there on Friday and they didn't have much for Transformers, typical. Bloomington Target had WW Prime, BW Megs, and Unicron Titanium figures as of Friday (yeah I'm late). They also had Primus.
The folks in La Crosse might disagree, but I owe you guys a bunch so I don't have much of a problem with it. Still have the 1 Alt Prime available. I finally got to mess with Mirage, Prime, and Camshaft last night. Mirage is neat simply because he is the only one that is a new mold for me. Prime is probably a bit worse than Nem Prime simply because the color scheme doesn't work quite as well as the black and blue. Camshaft is OK -- the dull grey plastic is a bit of a disappointment -- especially since it shows swirls and flaws in the plastic so well. His color scheme and appearance in bot mode is pretty nice though.
The 6" or 3"? All I'm looking for anymore is the 6" WWI Prime, and Camshaft. EDIT: HTS has Camshaft in stock, so no more hunting for him for me!
I'm liking them both, for the most part. The plastic on Prime is definitely not as shiny as, well, pretty much every other Alt that I have , but he's still fun. Mirage's chest plate is kinda floppy, too.
If you fold out the two black pieces on either side of his abdomen (the ones that normally would go under the chestplate), then put the chest plate down, and then fold the black pieces back in on either side of it, the lips on the edges of the black pieces hold the chest down nicely. Sorry I don't have a camera to better illustrate what I'm talking about...
Champlin Super Target as of Sunday 8/6, still has 6" Titanium Megs and Prime at $4.99. Although I snagged quite a few.
this is something that may or may not have an impact on us, but apparently the Downtown Target tore out one of the toy shelves over the weekend, doubling the size of one of the aisles. What toys may or may not be getting the boot, or why they did it, who knows? just something that kinda surprised me. At this point, however, it hasn't had any impact on the action figure section.
[sarcasm] I'm sure it's to make room for the multiple pallets of Alternators toys that they will be stocking soon. [/sarcasm]
One Camshaft at Bloomington Target, of course my first sighting of one the day I order him online. Piss.
