After a disappointing trip to the Burnsville TRU to try and snag me a $12 Ani Blitzwing, I went to the MOA to grab some tshirts. Noticed the TRU outlet was still there and blam! Nailed down my Blitzwing and a Voyager prime for $8.50 a peice :D , still a Ani Grimlock there when I left for the same price. Oh and also they had a pantload of the HFTD deluxes.

Nice work! Voyager Prime is actually what sold me on the Animated line. I was not a fan, but thought I should probably at least grab Prime and Megs (since Megs was only $20 on clearance...) well, I thought Prime was awesome and then started grabbing everything else I could find, which conveniently was starting to be clearanced out. I coulda saved even more money with a little more patience, but a lot of stuff was starting to become pretty scarce on the shelves. Anyhow...what was the point again? Oh yeah, Voyager Prime...great fig, amazing price! Blitzwing is pretty sweet, too.

Did they have any other Blitzwings besides the one you bought? I've been looking for one for a while now.

So if I were to order P/CP, would I get the next free membership figure?

*looks like the decision was made for me...sold out shortly after I posed the question. Probably a good thing because I was all ready to bite if the answer was yes, which it looks to be after digging around.

To get the free fig, you have to be a member...I'm a member, and to be honest...its very overrated...most of the club figs are expensive repaints...I'm gonna get 2011 free fig sideburnz ( rodimus repaint) and I'm done with it...tfcc is lame imo

Doesn't really matter now (unless more come in stock,) but don't you become a member when you buy a figure? They send you the mags for a year, anyhow... And that's why I was considering it, because I'm somewhat interested in Side Burn. Both for $100 would have maybe been worth it...at least as "worth it" as two repainted deluxe figs for $100 can be.

When you buy the fig @ non member price you are actually buying the membership, notice the 40$ difference...they send a mag every 60 days....you get to see new figs, but tfw puts them up...really help during botcon cuz you get first dibs..but that it...

*oh you also get a chance at the exclusive repaints...but you see what. Happens when you aren't quick enough...

Right...I was just trying to verify that it was a full-fledged membership that included the figure as it specifies that you get the mags for a year, but doesn't mention the "free" club fig. I could (or is it couldn't?) give a sh*t about the mags, I wanted to make sure I'd get the fig! It absolutely wasn't worth $100 to me otherwise...even if I coulda turned around and sold it on ebay for $140 or better.

Sorry, couldn't help you make a decision earlier, but yeah I believe you would become a full fledged member and get the freebie figure (Sideburn, Hot Rod repaint) as well. Maybe a very limited amount more will come back in stock if anyone violates their rule for ordering this time. You could have added P/CP and then add the membership to the cart and P/CP reduce in price to $59 which is still essentially $99. Same difference though I believe.

That's okay...I saw it listed not too long after it went up, but decided against it. I only started reconsidering when I mentioned it to my wife and she told me to do it (because when I mention something she assumes I want it...I suppose because I usually do) and I still said no...then I started looking at eBay and saw what they were going for. Then I thought about what next year's figure was and started talking myself into it. And then when I was finally ready to do it, it was too late.

But with Crossfire/FP Bruticus likely shipping within the next week or so, I probably didn't need to drop the extra cash on something I can live without. I hate that I've joined the "TF snob" club. :lol  I used to scoff at these ridiculously priced, exclusive repaints...hell, I didn't buy retail repaints! Oh, how time's changed...

Keep the guy who's devastated about missing out on P/CP in mind if you come across extras! ;)  I'm good for it...I still have that hundo in my pocket.

Hopefully I'll have time to check today, but that's what he said. We'll see. I won't be getting one (spent too much money on investments), but if they're there I'll let you know.
