My BBTS order showed up today. Dead End to finally complete Menasor and Hubcap...cause I was sitting on the fence with him for a while and finally picked him up for the 1986 minibot collection. Hubcap is of course Earthrise Cliffjumper once again, but I had to Future polish the peg for his backpack as it otherwise was super loose. Dead End...is a mixed bag. Both modes look good, but does anyone else who owns him have (of had) difficulty keeping his vehicle mode back end tabbed together? It seems like there's maybe some excess plastic in there. It's noticeable when he's combined with Menasor, but I definitely need to see about a little fixing. And with Menasor complete at long last... It's an improvement over the Combiner Wars one, very toon accurate looking. I wish he had a more proper gun...but he's pretty good. It makes me wonder when they'll do another combiner...which I'm willing to bet will be Superion.
Just read a story that the Brooklyn Center Walmart will close April 21. Wonder if there will be any good clearance deals?
Endorsed. Target has them for $24.99 at the moment. It's not *quite* the Pulse Warehouse sale but I went with it because I couldn't fill $75 worth. ---- Also, I know next to nothing about DC outside the big names but this Fulcum Abominus (aka Justice League Megazord) is absolutely amazing. It doesn't have as much articulation as a standard Marvel Legends figure, but it's a fantastic sculpt, great paint detail, and it's just...the boldest goddamn thing I've seen. I learned about it when they announced the figure like a month ago and it's probably my favorite non PR/TF already. ....also the joints are *strong* on this guy.
I feel bad for Mike of Hot Comics here... Went into the Minneapolis store along Osseo Road today and the whole toy side of the store was being blocked off as apparently their ceiling there leaked all over last night. I don't know how bad, but I could see a number of large buckets from outside, and he had an insurance agent coming by later. I did buy a retro card Marvel Legends Avalanche and Wolverine they had in the new stuff shelves while there.

I'm a bit late but my Dead End had the same problem. I thought it was just a bad copy but maybe it's widespread. It really tainted what could have been a great figure. Gonna sell off my original set soon to make way for the coming g2 set and hopefully that version will be decent!

Just in from Amazon: Basically just core prime but bigger, but still a fun little kids toy. I think if all the figures are like this one, kids will love it.
