Leo Prime bumped up to Wednesday. Slug arriving tonight. According to reports most of Evo W1 is also getting bumped up on Amazon. Tomorrow could be fun.
Was he shortpacked? I thought it was just 1-2 of each for the case in that wave. Oh well, too bad he's impossible to find online. I'll keep an eye out tho. I'm guessing he'll show up at Edina one of these days since they've been trickling out that one case. My Sludge, Leo Prime, and Hot Shot got bumped up on Amazon, too. Also got Dr. Wu's legends-scale RotF Wheelie today, and even though that character in the movie was pretty meh, the figure is a lot of fun, looks great in both modes, and is a lot less of a headache than I remember the deluxe being. XD Looks like pulse is shipping out those Diceling things too, if you like your transformers owl-bear flavored. ....wait no, not THAT owl-bear!
I mean if you are ok paying a 50% markup I guess or having your card information stolen. Can't imagine why there is still a scalper market. /s
BBTS not so much but with TFSource both times I ordered my card data was stolen. Not sure if they fixed their issues but I swore off them after the 2nd time.
Yeah...after hearing about those data breaches for TFSource, I have never had the desire to order from them. It's one thing if it happens once, but as I recall it happened again not too long after the first incident. I've had my credit card info get into the wrong hands before, which is why anytime I use it now, it's set up to text me on my phone every time. Anyway, Transformers wise...I saw that Buzzworthy Bumblebee SS DOTM Optimus Prime at Coon Rapids Target today and a number of the new cartoon's Optimus Prime. One Armada Starscream was still there, so it came home with me. Interesting looking over the reviews for this guy, apparently a lot of people have had QC issues with him...my copy seems fine aside from one of the arms where they slide back and forth being a little loose.
Edina Target has 2 Deluxe Earthspark Megatrons, 4 voyager? Earthspark Bumblebees, the full Earthspark 1 step flip wave, 3 buzzworthy NEST Bonecrusher, 4 Buzzworthy SS DOTM Optimus Prime, 4 SS 86 Ironhide and one ss Galvatron. They also had the D&D Black Dragon Diceling for $24.99, which is weird because Pulse has them for $14.
Yeah, I've noticed with amazon stuff can come and go. It was $24.99 when I posted it, but by the time I was turning off my computer, it was $35. I usually have a tab open and refresh it whenever I have the mind to, and I've been able to get a lot of stuff that way. Plus, Amazon takes my credit card points so I've gotten a number of figures for free. I'd rather go with other sites, but especially recently with BeastBox having a direct storefront there, they've become the best option. At the same time, I've got Core Slug in hand with Leo Prime, Core Sludge, and Hot Shot all coming on Wed, all for retail with no shipping cost, so... just depends when you look, I guess. Wow I've never had to deal with either of those things. Ironically, the one time I DID get my credit card info stolen, it was via Target. Usually the sites might charge a little more, but I wonder how much people spend on gas and time looking for things? And that's coming from someone who runs around a lot looking for things for fun multiple times a week when it's not cold AF. Alternatively, just get pulse premium. If anything, it's saved me gas and made it so I never have to pay shipping or above retail on a figure in addition to having to worry about missing stuff and made it so locking in exclusives is a lot easier. But hey, you are free to live the life you wanna live and complain about whatever rustles your jimmies, but it's just weird to me to blame Hasbro when there's like 10 ways you could lock in figures aside from just pounding brick and mortar. Heck, I'm sure if you hit Hot Comics up enough you'd find it quick too (Haven't some of the first-time local sightings been there?). Also, Legacy Dead End wasn't shortpacked. And here's another place where you could order him for retail! By 'not so much' he means it hasn't been a problem with BBTS, and I think the last time that happened with TF Source, I was still living in Mankato (so like a decade- I think the last one was 2010, and CC security has come a bit farther in 13 years). Additionally both use paypal, so you don't really have to ever put your CC info in if you don't want to anyway. I will say I wish BBTS did free shipping after a point or had some sort of loyalty program (which is why Chosen Prime is still my go-to), but I'd rather drop a couple extra bucks than a ton more on ebay, and I'd rather have someone hand me a box of figures than drive around in this cold. Online's been basically vital if you're a Classified collector, too. That said, I think T-Hybrid and I (and I'm sure others) have picked up Dead Ends for multiple people in this thread at this point, so like... community is the best resource for gettin' figures.
Super Target in Woodbury has the Earth Spark figures. I picked up the only Terran Twitch, they still had 2 BB and 2 megs as of 7AM this morning. My copy of Terran is meh at best. None of the pegs fit or line up when transforming. Chest doesn't fit firmly in robot mode or fully move into place in drone mode. They also had the OP and BB spin changers.
Went back to Coon Rapids Target again today aafter work on a hunch and they have now stocked a bunch of the Earthspark stuff for Transformers. But also found Tiger Force Bazooka and that Snake Eyes with white Timber for G.I.Joe Classified as well as Frosta and Roboto from Masters of the Universe Masterverse and Mekaneck with Road Ripper for MOTU Origins. Finding new G.I.Joe stuff around here is quite the shock.
Waconia target had earthspark stuff, as well as 1 d&d diceling (beholder) and some of the oldeschool storage shell tmnt figures (Donnie and mikey)
I'm sorta with ya on Twitch. I like her overall, and I can get her to peg together, but it is finnicky, and the chest not locking in either mode is weird. It doesn't really affect bot mode at all since it stays in place well enough, and her gun holds it in place in alt mode, but it seems like there should have been SOME places for that to plug in. As for sightings: NEST Bonecrusher and Buzzworthy trailer prime, as well as 1 Pointblank and 1 Skullgrin at Bloomington Target. 2 SS '86 Ironhides and 1 Jhiaxus as well. No Earthspark. They're like mid-reset so everything is in a weird spot, but TFs are where they've always been. They had a number of those Dungeon Master/Venger sets from the D&D cartoon as well.
