2 galvatron, 1 laser prime, 4 bulkheads, 1 arcee, 1 kickback, 2 dragestrip, 2 skids, handful of legacy cores, 1 coronation starscream, 2 ss sweeps, 1 ss soundwave, 1 ss wreck-gar, 1 ss hotrod, ss cores, 1 silverstreak at Inver Grove target!
Skids and arcee, many bulkheads, 1 blaster, and some galvs at Edina last night. They said they had Classified Alley Viper but that was a lie (if anyone sees him, HMU)
I have never once seen a B.A.T. or Alley Viper in stores ever sadly...just lots of Flint, Lady Jaye, Cobra Commander, and those awful Snake Eyes movie figures. As much as I like the Classified line, I'm just not that interested in jumping through all the hoops hoping to find the new figures in stores or catching them online given I have memories of doing that for a lot of the 25th anniversary and 30th anniversary G.I.Joe stuff. I mean, if I see new figures, I'll gladly pick them up as I really want that new Storm Shadow...and Spirit...and Stalker...and so on... I just would like to find them as easily as the Flint and Lady Jaye wave turned out. Anyway, I'll continue to keep an eye out around here, but not feeling likely to see them anytime soon in the North Metro. I just got Studio Series 86 Perceptor at last...from Hot Comics. It was a few dollars more than online, but...eh... I get to see the figure in package before buying. And honestly...Perceptor is...well, I get the reviews here on the forum for saying he's "average". He's Perceptor. He turns into a microscope and tank mode...looks how he should. Not mindblowing, but he fills that hole in the collection, though I kinda feel like Titans Return Perceptor's microscope mode is a bit better. I definitely feel Titans Return Blitzwing does the jet mode better than the upcoming Legacy one. Tank mode is...debatable. LOL
I was inventorying my TR stuff a few weeks back and you're not wrong. Like, there's only so many ways to do him, and he's gonna look dorky if he's screen accurate, but I felt like '86 was especially blah. As for GIJoe stuff, I feel ya. My friend found a BAT at Vadnais Heights, and I keep seeing Cobra Commander and passing on him cuz something about him just doesn't do it for me. I'm not a big Joe fan, but I always loved the BAT design and the more goofy character decos (I had T.A.R.G.E.T. and that dude who was like a drug kingpin that was basically a gangster with a domino mask.... so yeah...). I feel ya tho. As tough as it can be to get TFs, there definitely seem to be more avenues and better distribution than Joes. ::EDIT:: Like 5 bulkheads and Galves, 1 laser prime, SS w1 Cores, an Arcee and a Kickback at Bloomington Target. No Alley Vipers, just Jaye and Cobra Commander. XD
Kingdom is being Clearanced at Walmart but for whatever reason (across the board) their clearance prices are crap. There's LEGO sets being "marked down" to $70 that retail for $69.99.
My wife told me that Walmart isn't allowed to mark down stuff in the clearance section until it's been sitting there for a certain amount of time. Basically, they're not doing so good this year, so they've been banned from handmarking clearance prices. Once their system gives them the ok, then they'll be marked down. So check back frequently if there's something you like but are waiting for a lower price.
I noticed that too and had to do a double-take. Not only was the "clearance" price not much of a clearance but it was actually higher than MSRP!
Hey, the inside of your car looks like my garage right now. >_> Though while there are toys, there are also tubs of DVDs and retro games as well. LOL
Planes go fast dude. Got my order in for Lego Optimus, then realized that I live down the street from MOA and could prolly just grab one there. Ah well, shipping was free so it's fine.
Yeah, I think I'm going to swing by over lunch. It seems like there should be a way to order with in store pickup, but I can't seem to find it?
Meanwhile all three Legacy BW guys are now in stock on Pulse. And while I PO'd them as part of the same order...apparently Hasbro decided to ship them individually. I'm not going to pretend to know a thing about shipping logistics, but whatever operation they've got going down there is glaringly inefficient.
