Yeah, he does. So there's that at least. I think you might still be able to make a tank out of him tho? XD

Oh yeah absolutely. And can probably find a way to make the jet parts look good that way too.

Man, like, before WFC, I barely ever bought recolors, now here I am with 3 Ironworks, 3 Airwaves, 4 Optimuses, 4 Ironhides, 6 Sideswipes, and soon, 7 Megatrons.... Man they even got me to buy Scorponok twice.

    Like... what?

I used to have a very strong no repaint rule but Combiner Wars blew that away. I still do limit it to no more than three versions of the same mold. Also, I only buy one version of the same character, and doing that saved me from having to double dip on characters that got a retool in Earthrise because aside from the seekers, Optimus and Barricade I stuck with the Siege figures.

Airazor, Arcee, and Ractonite at Crystal Target, though Arcee and Ractonite are in the backroom.

    *laughs in Combiner Wars*

I've given up on the "no repaints" rule because I realized if I like the toy and want the character I shouldn't let it stop me. Which is why, by the time Kingdom's over, I'll likely own three sets of the Bone Brigade.

    ------

In other news, I'm fairly certain DHL deals in wormholes because I have no idea how anything can get from Osaka to Ohio in less than a day.

I feel like we've run into the 'super late burst' with Walgreens exclusives before, too.

As for recolors, I think it's that in the past it's been like... ho hum whatever, where as the recolors this time around either part of a set (Seekers, datsuns), enough of a remold to appeal to me (ER Ironhide vs Siege Ironhide), expandable modular bases (Ironworks, Airwave), or just some repaint that's so weird that we're probably not going to see anything like it again any time soon (SG, G2 decos, cell shaded decos). Not to mention that a lot of them have been so good that it's hard to say no as a fan. We'll see how that changes when Hasbro jacks the prices again, though.

It's been all of them. Brainstorm, the mismatched clones, Wreck-Gar... there's that initial trickle and then just when you've forgotten about them *thpppppt* they show up damn near everywhere in greater numbers.

.... what's the Kingdom Walgreens figure? Feels weird that among all the leaks we haven't heard that yet.

I thought I read a rumor it was going to be an earth mode version of Red Alert to go with the rumored Amazon exclusive 2-pack of earth mode Sideswipe and...some Beast Wars figure?

I think most recently it's Sideswipe and Nightprowler, Mirage and Grimlock. That Red Alert thing sounds familiar, and would fit with them wanting to get some mileage out of that tooling.

Well they are big on bullet trains over there, so maybe they’ve taken the same theory into shipping.

I bought a CW Liokaiser from Taiwan and I seem like I'm exaggerating but it came like the next day.

I'm fairly certain DHL employes wizards.

Nothin' interesting at Bloomington Target, but I think we're kinda in a lull in general. I guess the only thing worth calling out right now is the Netflix wave 3 exclusives, and you can get most of those on pulse ATM anyhow?

I ordered G.I.Joe Classified Zartan and Cobra Infantry from BBTS Friday and it was apparently on our doorstep early this morning.

So aside from Firefly, I'm caught up on the line...

Just when I was ready to jump out, they pull me back in.

Took me off guard cuz I usually get emails about new in stock product on pulse, but on Saturday saw and ordered and I didn’t have to hunt at any Walmart’s.
