Man, I gotta say, I love Naval Commander a LOT, but the QC issues are rough. I emailed Fans Hobby about it tho, and they got back to me in less than a day. Seems like they stand by their stuff, which is cool. I just want more cool 3p Armada figures!

As for sightings, grabbed a set of 4 Headmasters fro Vadnais Heights WalMart. One Chromedome left.

Also Xpanse showed up today! What... a weird figure! Like, the level of retool from Jetfire to him basically makes him a completely new guy, and there's some really neat engineering ideas, but the kibble just seems REALLY sloppy, and while the tiny sabertooth and Wolverine are neat I guess, I don't get why they included a Psylock psychic effect thing that has no use other than to give the tiny X-folk a little pink tutu. Still, there's some neat stuff going on. I need to figure out how to tighten one of the little wing flaps though because one of mine is SUPER floppy.

Botropolis tomorrow, looks like! Really psyched for that one.

    Sighted. 37 years later.

    Let the restoration begin.

Target on University in St. Paul had Kingdom wave 1 deluxes, one full set plus an extra Warpath and Paleotrex and that's about it.

Megs, Op, and Soundwave RED figures on Pulse now.

Also my Botropolis set randomly showed up on my doorstep at 8pm, too. I'm really bummed we probably won't get more base molds. Say what you will about partsforming, but they were cool designs and it's fun to city build with Transformers.

My Xpanse had the same wing problem.. as well his ab joint.. seems to be a overall quality issue. I Just rationalized the psychic effect as Xpanse telepathically controlling them like action figures! lol

Mine too. It looks like when they boxed him up the wings were folded up. That stressed the joint. If anyone knows an easy fix I'm game.

Is there just a stress mark? Or something else?

Can't get a pic at the moment, but there's a stress mark on the underside of each wing on the back tab.

It's not pinned, so maaaybe thr usual suspects for tightening joints?

I didn't see stress marks on mine, they're just loose.

Stress marks can be easily knocked out with a lighter. A hair dryer also works, but is considerably more difficult IMO.

But then in bot mode they're supposed to flip down to point out from his thighs and that is a floppy situation.

Floppy Situation was the name of my college garage band. We were not too popular with the ladies.

I've got the floppy wings on my Xpance too. Seems like an issue for every copy of this figure. For now the wings at least rests on a detent of some sort in both modes so I guess that's good enough for me. The figure is pretty good in my opinion. Nothing great but I'm happy to have it.

    My Holy Grail restored.

Cleaned him up nice and added the decals from TRU reissue Silverstreak. About as minty a BLUEstreak as you’re going to find.

I was going to try the Salon 40 method for restoring the blue plastic, but after cracking his arm while tightening it, I figure I better leave it alone.
