Well, guess we can all be happy knowing there isn't a Megatron for the Kingdom line, eh? I still see Siege Megatrons mixed with all the Earthrise ones now.
Not at the Voyager pricepoint anyway. Speaking of Megatrons, TFSource has Despotron on sale as part of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday Week sales. I watched Peaugh's review and it seems pretty solid...and likely my best chance at an affordable gun Megatron. Do any of you have it? Is it worth $60? I can tell it's a bit fiddly and has a massive grip in gun mode but that's fine since it looks pretty good in both modes and would cost about the price of a Commander. EDIT: Nevermind, he's sold out now. Problem solved itself.
Netflix Optimus and Bumblebee are back up for preorder on walmart.com but don't search "netflix", they're just called War for Cybertron
Funny. Just got an email today saying one of my 2 Bumblebees is cancelled because it “exceeds quantity limits.” LOL, so NOW there are limits, months after ordering, now that they want to put up more preorders? Got it. Makes perfect sense in the Walmart Cinematic Universe.
Ditto. On the other hand, my Roundabout showed up today. I mean Runabout. Sorry, I have Yes playing in my head. I dig him. The red racing line along the edge of the car really makes it a little more exciting, and I don't NEED a second gun, but it's cool one exists.
I also got the Walmart Soundwave back order notice, as well as received my Runabout from Target today. Target also delayed my Thrust preorder to December 15th. Hopefully these Target exclusives eventually become easy to find in stores like the last two, in case the preorder gets cancelled.
I’m curious what you all do to insure your collections? Like if there was a fire or something. I’m sure insurance companies will fight tooth and nail not to pony up on “a bunch of toys” but there’s legit grading companies, eBay, and a whole market based around collectibles. So what do you folks know?
My dad did this for his model train collection. I think if you keep an accurate inventory of what you've got they can be covered under your homeowners policy similar to a TV or computer...
My dad (since we are comparing dads) just retired from a life in insurance, and can confirm the homeowners policy. At the very least, take pics of your collection, so you can prove what you have.
Yeah I always keep my shmax profile up-to-date, along with myfigurecollection for anime figs, and a few other of those type of collector sites. Also have an app that tracks what video games and movies I own. Then take pictures of it all to prove you actually have that amount of stuff! Finally, make sure what you value your collection at is covered under your policy. I've asked about it to my insurance agent before and they said they don't really have separate riders/policy for that kind of collection, it is just covered with your regular homeowne'rs/renter's insurance.
