For anyone who still cares (mostly because of the hilarity of the situation) Target has now pushed my SS Overload preorder back to Nov. 18. At this point I can only assume it will never come, likely because he's miscategorized with a Voyager DPCI and thus they'll never actually be able to order more stock. Or accurately track the stock of him they have. So...lawl. Expect this dude to start popping up at places like TJ Maxx/Marshall's in a few months once Target finally stumbles upon the cobwebbed cases of Overload/Scavenger and wonders why they never sold.
Man good thing I don't care too much about boxes. XD That said, figures are cool! I was expecting Ironhide's sheild to just be a flimsy piece of plastic, but it's got some weight to it. I dig it!
Has anyone in the Bloomington/Eagan/Richfield area seen the wave 2 & 3 deluxes? And does anyone have a lead on what stores might still have them?
One of my friends was supposed to get me a Ironhide/Prowl set, but I just foundout that it fell through, would anyone here happen to have an extra for me to buy?
Fasttrack on Amazon. Current State of the rest of W2/W3... Also worth noting: Sky Lynx is down to $68 today on Amazon. Depending on how you roll, Target does price matching on Amazon in store. Combine that with their 25% coupon on Circle (Caution: It's one-off) and a Red Card, you can take one home for just under $50.
So I was waiting for my Fasttrack to ship from amazon. It was supposed to be here yesterday, but it got pushed back to December. Then my pulse one was charged, and about to ship! And then my amazon one randomly showed up on my doorstep today! ....so I'll prolly have an extra Fasttrack relatively soon if anyone needs it. He's cool? Very compact. My only gripe is that spear mode doesn't use all the parts.
The unused torso section actually helps Scorponock hold the spear a lot better. If you plug the torso part onto the spear somewhere and have the claw hold the section with the torso, it's a much more secure hold than just the spear itself. I can't really even get Scorponock to hold the spear without using the torso part.
I'm getting this bad feeling Amazon WON'T be sending me Earthrise Ironhide and Prowl here. It's stated to be to me by this next Monday. It's Friday. Damn it. I don't want to deal with this again. My Amazon order for Arctic Storm Shadow from G.I.Joe Classified was delayed three times to the point it's now listed as "We'll let you know when it ships." Is Hasbro just not able to supply Amazon enough with its exclusives, or is Amazon just not able to figure out how many of something they have for orders?
He's a fun toy. Shoulders, elbows (including rotation), knees, and he's got the sword/gun accessories. Transformation is pretty straight forward, with the gator mode being a treat. Also,for people who hate "hollow" figures...the only real bad spots are the backs of his legs which are needed to transform. Also...he's got the absolute best armor mode.
I keep driving this home, but BOGO plus price-match w/ Amazon plus Circle coupon = Practically giving Sky lynx away!
Had to drop my SS Overload pre order at Wal-Mart... They were shipping out stock.. and dropped my pre-order to... Dec 1st?... So got one on best buy .com... Full price... But showed up in 2 days.. and in a BIG box.... nice to have the full set now..

My Walmart Snapdragon pre-order got delayed a fourth time. *sad trombone noises* I get that I could just go out it and buy it at this point, but this is just funny-sad to observe.
